Chapter 8: CHEATING

While walking to school, I noticed four men in black suits staring at me but I suddenly thought of Jarelle’s confession so I ignored the four men. I love how his words pierced my soul. He already confessed his feelings, his words made my heart melt. What is this feeling… Am I in love? He was so good with his words, I felt like I was talking to a book.

I shrugged him off because I don’t want awkwardness. I am also not sure about him. We haven't known each other very well, so it felt a little bit weird when he suddenly admitted his love.

As I walked into the school gate, I saw Julyza and Rein sitting behind the bookshelves.
They turned their heads when they heard my footsteps

“Rapunzel is here!” Rein stood up and held my arms, he pulled me closer to Julyza.

“Where’s your Lover?” Julyza teasingly asked me about Jarelle

“Oh shut up” I laughed as we stood up and walked through our class

As we entered the classroom, I saw Naya again with her girls, they were staring at us.
I ignored her glare though it's really annoying me, what can I do? She is a spoiled bully.

I sat on my chair, and Jarelle instantly appeared
“Goodmorning, beautiful” Jarelle greeted me with a sweet voice.

“Morning” I replied callously
After his confession, everything started to feel wrong, everything was mixed with awkwardness.

“How are you?” He asked me, his actions made me feel so weird.

“Ok, Good Morning Students” Our professor entered our room gladly

“Good morning Professor” We responded.

Mr. Espiritu started his discussion but as he was talking, Jarelle whispered a few words to me. Unfortunately, the professor noticed him and got upset. " Mr. Barbasa!

Jarelle was stunned and never attempted to say another word.

He asked forgiveness to our Professor and after, back to his seat.

Mr. Espiritu back on discussing.

After his lecture, our Professor decided to give us a short quiz about the lesson he tackled.

"I hope that all of you listened to my discussion, because we're having a short quiz," he announced.

Everyone was shocked.

Mr. Espiritu ordered us to keep all our books or reviewers except a pen.

After a few minutes, he already distributed the quiz paper to the whole class.

While answering, I saw Naya whispering to Julyza about something.

I just ignored them and continued to answer the quiz paper.

But I can't resist confronting her and telling her that she's too noisy and she's acting like a bee.

Meanwhile, on my way to Rein to borrow a pen, I accidentally saw Naya have a copy of the quiz paper hidden inside her skirt.

“What’s under your skirt?” I asked Naya curiously.

“Ha-what's under my skirt? Uhm-ha nothing. What are you talking about?” she responded with a shocked and weird face.

I narrowed my eyes, not buying her innocent act. "I saw you hiding the quiz paper under your skirt. Don't think you can cheat your way through this."

Naya's face flushed with anger, and she shot me a venomous glare. "Mind your own business, Rapunzel. This doesn't concern you."
