Y/n pov ~
"Table for 3?"
"Table for 6 actually, If it's not a bother for you." Andrew said pushing up his spectacles. Leif stood there fidgeting from nerves. I hold his hand and squeeze it so he looks over to me. I smiled, reassuringly over to him.
"Oh! You usually just take Ava with you, what is the special occasion?" The waiter said who seemed to be well acquainted with the family.
"Ava now has a boyfriend and so does her friend, and what better way to celebrate than have your amazing Italian cuisine?" He said sweet-talking the waiter.
"Oh-Ho! Grazie mille, Signore. (Thank you very much, sir.) Then follow me this way." We all followed.
"So, how did you all meet?" Devon said with love already pouring from his eyes, leaning very close to me and Leif. Oh shittt. I need to think.
"Sooooo, um. I met Leif at a Cosplayyyy- CONVENTION." I said finishing 'convention' off confidently. I could tell Leif was smiling intently. Omg- we must look really stupid right now.
Devon's pov ~
OMG THAT WAS SO CUTE. AWW THEY'RE SUCH A CUTE COUPLE :)
Y/n's pov ~
"I dressed up as Anya Forger from Spy x Family and Leif just so happened to be dressed up as Damian Desmond. It was love at first sight." I said winking at Leif who immediately blushed a taffy pink and tried to cover his face. I gave him an apologetic hug.
"OMg, tHaT wAs sO emOtIonaL. I nEed a- ACHOO!" Devon said sneezing and wiping his tears with a tissue box that appeared out of nowhere. (That probably a very accurate version of Devon and my friends - ItzMe18🌺)
"How about you, Ava?" Andrew said patting his husband, cutely.
"Oh um. w-we met at the arcade dance."
"Arcade dance??" My brain was confuzzled in every way possible to man.
"Uh, yeah. It was a masked ball and I was wandering around the room and suddenly our eyes met and we didn't know each other was, but we knew that we loved each other and then we exchanged instagrams because Noi didn't have a phone and, uh, yeah." Umm new Romeo and Juliet in the room, here??
"That sounds just like Romeo and Juliet!" Devon said dramatically.
"Suspiciously similar to Romeo and Juliet. But that does explain why you made an instagram account out of nowhere." Andrew said like he was calculating every move and breath Ava did.
"Oh look, the pizzas here!" I said changing the subject.
"Your favourite, Ava, pepperoni pizza with a smile." The waiter said twiddling with his flying moustache. The pizza had indeed been served with a smile as in, the pepperoni was meticulously placed resembling a smile.
"Y/n, do the honours." I rolled my eyes at her exaggeration. I swiftly cut the pizza in a blink of an eye. Yeah that's what she meant.
"Your welcome." I said sitting back down and gave Leif a high five. CLAP!
"Thank you Y/n for cutting the pizza so evenly!" Devon said fanboying over the pizza with stars in his eyes. I just smiled in reply and started to dig in to the pizza. I looked over to Leif how had a few pizza stains on his mouth.
"Leif! You can be so messy sometimes." I said grabbing a napkin to wipe his face. I felt him blush as I clean his mouth. With Ava things got a little more... What's the word? Explosive.
"This tastes so good!" Noi said smiling with a whole pond of sauce around his face.
"Wow! You have a large appetite, don't you?" The grey haired man said chuckling softly.
"And a large lack of manners." His husband said wiping his face with a napkin in a polite fashion.
"Um, N-Noi, let's, uh... Let me show you where the bathroom is so you can clean up." Ava said clenching her now sweaty palms and grabbed Noi's hand dragging him behind her.
"Bathroom?" He said sounding dazed. I could tell Ava was embarrassed from her stuttering and awkward demeanor.
"Hey Y/n, is Ava ok? She is being a bit odd." Shit, Shitttt.
"Is she not always like this?" Leif said and my immediately covered his mouth in an instant.
"What he means is that Ava is being her usual self." I said with a weird tone. Then Ava came back and sat back down.
"S-Sorry about that! Long line at the bathroom." Ava slipped in.
"So, uh, Noi, tell me, uh, what kind of job do you have?" Andrew said lighting up the mood.
"Job?" Noi said a bit too loud.
"What's a job?" Whispered Leif.
"So, dad, how is your campaign going?" Ava said trying to ease the tension.
"Haven't you been keeping up?" Well that back fired.
"Uh, I mean, I've been busy looking for a job and stuff." Ava said lying through her teeth while her father stares expectingly.
"Okay fine, I haven't kept up." She pouted
"Ava!"
"Darling, now isn't the time to-" Devon said protecting Ava from politics.
"You're gonna have to grow up someday, pumpkin. You should really care about-"
"What's a campaign?" Noi said cutting off Andrew who has a mini panic attack.
"Breathe darling, breathe."
"Uh, Noi, my dad is running for city council. It's like being the leader of a lot of humans." Ava quickly explained.
"That's an odd way to describe it." Devon said and I face palmed.
"Now everyone is going to want to court Ava because it makes her a princess." Leif whispered over to me. Sh!t. And sure enough they all came bursting through the door exclaiming,
"I wish to be Ava's boyfriend-"
"No I am Ava's boyfriend-"
"I want to marry Ava-" Her parents looked dumbfounded.
"So you all like Ava?"

Thank you guys for reading this chapter I didn't really know what to write for this chapter because it was mostly just Ava and Noi. But I managed to come up with a few things. Anyways, THANK U SO MUCH U GUYS. WE HAVE HIT 2K READS AND I LOVE YOU GUYS FOR THIS!
