Lilibet's POV:
A week has passed, and the day of the funeral has arrived. Lilibet and the rest of the family arrive at Buckingham Palace where their cousins, uncles, grandmothers, grandfathers and all the rest of the royal family await for the ceremony, as well as an unknow women that Lilibet as never seen she was tall and old and used green vests, but for now that person did not matter her great-grandma was dead and she wanted to see her one last time.
Lilibet followed her family as one by one they left Buckingham Palace and went on to the Royal Church of Westminster Abbey to say their goodbyes. Once in it Lilibet immediately felt like something was wrong.
Dad, I don't like this.
Between tears Harry picked up Lilibet
Neither do I, my little angel, neither do I, but now we must be strong and say our farewells.
It's not that, daddy, I feel weird.
It's normal, angel, don't worry it will pass.
And so they walked down the corridor between the pews, and sat down at the very front to see the Queen. Her coffin, made of oak and lined with lead, with a blue colour and golden ornaments laid open for the royal family to see their departed Queen. At least this is what everyone saw. Everyone, but Lilibet, for her all that was there was an imense light blooming around the coffin.
Daddy? Can you see the light coming from grandma?
Harry could barely speak as he drowned in tears, and only held Lilibet closer to him.
I can't my little angel, but I do believe that she really shined the strongest and most caring light on all of us.
But daddy, that's not-
Her voiced is stopped by the priest that starts the funeral
She reigned for a total of 70 years and 214 days.....
And so on he spoke, about the greatest achievements of the queen and all of her history, and all of her personality, and once he was done, one by one the members of the royal family approached the Queen, leaving Lilibet's side of the family as the last so they could spend more time with the Queen, and so was that strange old lady left for last. One by one Harry, Megan, Archie and the old lady approached and spoke in private with the Queen, and then there was Lilibet's turn.
She started walking closer and closer to the coffin, and the light surrounding it just grew brighter and brighter until Lilibet was alone, in a corridor made of marble with the coffin floating in front of her, and then it opened revealing the Queen in her royal vests and with her eyes glowing in a pure white colour.
Hello, my little light.
Grangran?
Yes, it is me, there's no need to-
Lilibet ran towards the Queen immediately hugging her
I thought you where gone gran. How can you be here? I'm so happy! She says between tears and with a huge smile.
Unfortunately, my little light, I'm no longer amongst the living, my time as really come, but you are becoming more powerful each day, my little witch, to the point where you can even see me with your light magic.
Light magic? What do you mean gran?
Ohhh, my dear child. I can see the truth hasn't been told to you, but you need to know there's a world apart from our own, a world of magic and wonder. And you, are a rarity amongst them for you control light magic, and that's why you can speak with me beyond the veil of death. I could too, and because it hasn't been long since my death I've been able to remain here to see you one last time.
But I've never done magic before. How can that be?
It's all because of the curse bestowed upon our family, but not to worry you will break it soon enough, and when that day comes you must find my friend, Minerva, she will teach all you need to become the prodigy in magic that you are meant to be.
But gran, why can't you teach me? Why can't you come with me?
My little light, my time as come, like I said I only held on to be able to see you again, and now it's time for me to finally rest.
But.. no- Stay with me. Please come with me. Talk to dad. Please! We all miss you soo much!
I'm sorry, my little light. The Queen says as she hugs to Lilibet.
This is our last hug.
They both embrace each other as the light surrounding them diminishes and both cry saying their goodbyes.
I love you, gran.
I love you too, my little light.
Darkness envelops the room and Lilibet wakes up beside the coffin in the arms of the strange old woman.
Are you alright, missy?
Ye- yes I am. She stutters her words with her mind a bit fuzzy.
Come, let's bring you back to your parents.
Both walk out of the room meeting with Megan.
I believe this one belongs to you?
Megan is caught by surprise to see this old lady.
A- aahm.. thank you, I apologise. I didn't expect to see you here.
No problem at all, The Queen and I where close friends and she asked me to be present in case she end up going to rest before I.
Well, is there anything else you may need Lady M-
Yes! There is, if it could be possible for us to speak about the content of a letter and what it will imply?
Yes, of course.
Megan turns to Lilibet.
Dear, do me a favour and join your cousins Charlotte, George, and Louis, and your brother. I believe they where going to watch a show of some kind it could be good to distract you from the day of today.
Ohh.. Okay mommy. I'm going then. She says as she leaves Megan and the old lady speaking, and goes to meet up with her cousins.
Hey, Charlotte! What are you guys going to watch? Mom mentioned a show?
Well, Bugsy, yeah we are, but I'm not sure if you would enjoy it.
Why wouldn't I like it? I'm coming too. She says annoyed.
Alright then, but we are watching a fight.
