CHAPTER FIVE.

───────────────.˚₊❖

QUEEN ELAENA crumpled the letter she had gotten from her husband in her hand before throwing it on the ground with a huff.

King Viserys was dead. He was dead, and Alicent wanted to make Aegon king. Aegon of all fucking people.

Her mother's rightful crown had been usurped by a foolish man that had no sense of right or wrong.

Rhaenyra was the rightful Queen, and she was the rightful Heir to the Iron Throne, and she would not just let that get taken away from her.

She seethed in anger as she called for her dragons as she stepped outside of the castle of Dragonstone.

Elaena and Aemond decided that it would be best for him to stay at King's Landing for now, to see what his family was up to.

And thankfully he did. And now, Elaena was going to ruin King's Landing and take her husband with her.

She climbed on The Cannibal, as Sōna followed closely behind, the black and white dragon flying together, almost as if they were yin and yang.

It was a sight to see, truly.

She scratched the Cannibal's scales as she whispered in High Valyrian, "Are you in the state of mind to cause some havoc, Anni?"

Elaena knew that Sōna already knew what she was feeling and what her plan was since they had grown up together, but The Cannibal was old, and was a very stubborn dragon, and he didn't like to listen. So, Elaena always communicated with her dragons, yes, she was their owner. But they were dragons who could murder her within a second, not that they ever would.
