—ELAENA was tired, she hurried her way through the castle and walked to her and Aemond's shared chamber.
She walked in to see her husband reading one of his many History books, a candle lit on his nightstand.
He looked up when he noticed her presence, he sat up as Elaena took a place on their bed towards him. She grabbed the book and looked at the title, The Conquerors.
She chuckled as she gave it back to him, "How many times have you read this, my love?"
"Not enough to conquer a whole realm, sweetheart." Aemond clicked his tongue, grabbing her by her face and placing a soft and loving kiss on her lips.
Elaena sighed in delight before she pulled away, "How did it go?" Aemond asked her, caressing the palm of her hand.
"It went well. We have an understanding and I'll be visiting him every day for the next few days. I need to gain his trust." The Queen told the Prince, and he nodded in agreement.
"As long as you're careful, my love." He commented, and Elaena smiled lovingly at him. His only job was to take care of the Queen that was his wife, and he vowed to never let anything happen to her.
And, Lord, if anything did . .
"I will, Aemond. Now, I beg of you, help me out of this horrible dress." She huffed, pulling at the strings yet it had no effect whatsoever.
He laughed at her before removing the strings and pulling her dress down, removing all the clothing on her body except her undergarment.
