Muffled voices was the first thing I heard, and a white ceiling was the first thing I saw.
Why do I always wake up in a different place from where I was before I passed out? This is becoming too much of a trend.
Then my ears popped and I heard everything more clearly. So clear it was painful.
"I still don't see why he's here?" comes the voice of Mayu.
"We've been over this Mai, he found her and brought her here, essentially saving her." Connley states.
"Doesn't mean we should trust him." says Mayu.
Trust who? Who brought me back? And from where?
"Can you guys stop bickering, this conversation is useless. We'll just have to wait for Phoenix to wake up and determine whether he's a threat or not, so for now have patience." says Alexander, to the rescue.
My heart skips a few beats at finally being able to hear his voice.
I'm such an addict.
I try to move yet feel paralysed.
Why can't I move my limbs?
Then the view of the ceiling fades and I'm met with darkness yet again.
An image comes into view. An image of stark white walls. Only one piece of furniture in this eery looking room, that being a small single bed.
I already know where this is going.
This is another memory, one I never lost.
It's the day I managed to control all 4 of my elements just the way my master wanted me to.
He was very proud and I was just glad I finally got out of that white cell.
Before all that went down I went through the testing phase. They brought in 4 objects. A glass of water, an apple, a pot plant and a page.
Quite random if you ask me - well, little me. My master then asked me to demonstrate my 4 abilities using these objects.
With the glass of water I demonstrated my ability to evaporate, condense and solidify it. Effectively nailing my water ability.
With the apple I demonstrated my ability to levitate, throw and catch it using my air ability. Pretty basic things but I'd learn more later on.
With the pot plant I demonstrated my ability to transform the seedling into a fully grown plant in a matter of seconds using my earth ability. I'd been taught the proper timing for such things and it's finally paying off.
And finally, with the page I burnt it to a crisp, only ashes left in its wake. I burnt it within milliseconds, and my fingers itched to burn more.
I loved the way my fire ability destroyed anything in its path, utterly and completely, it was my favorite ability. Hence why I felt a need to use, improve and train it more.
Once I finished demonstrating my abilities my Master nodded his head and left, left me to my cold white cell all alone as per usual.
The only human interaction I received was from my Master, I didn't know life beyond those white walls.
There was a time when I could remember the forest I ran through. I used to find ways to imprint the image of it on one of the many white walls surrounding me.
Yet everytime I did they got someone to replace the damage I'd done and I'd see plain white once again. I, eventually, stopped trying.
The only thing that wasn't white in that room was my shadow, it contrasted most of the things in the room.
