#TWOT3

"Can you please stop staring at me, Daniella? You're creeping me out! Gosh!" reklamo ko nang mas lalong tumagal ang mga titig ng babae sa akin.

"Are you sure you didn't know that guy from yesterday?" asked Daniella for the nth time.

"I told you already, Daniella. He's not familiar to me to begin with," I answered boredly, trying to control the irritation that was slowly building up in me.

After the incident happened yesterday between me and that Aci boy, Daniella has been keeping her eyes on me. She's been asking me if I knew that freak or he's somehow familiar to me. And those questions are so nonsense that I'm starting to not take her seriously.

But one thing I'm certain about, there's something in that nerd that makes my friend act weirdly.

"Stop it already, Daniella. Tinatakot mo na si Fleur sa inaasta mo," natatawang pagsingit ni Julia sa usapan.

Mabilis akong tumango upang sumang-ayon sa sinabi ng babae. Mas lalong natawa Julia dahil sa naging reaksyon ko.

"See that, Daniella?" Julia added between her small laughs.

Daniella only rolled her eyes before tapping something on her phone. I stared at her for a minute before switching my attention to play with my phone too. The silence was now evident in our area as the four of us kept our attention on our own businesses.

Our attention was immediately caught when Daniella clapped both her hands, telling us to listen to what she was going to say.

"Let's go back to our main topic, shall we?" Daniella smiled at us sweetly as she clasped her hands altogether. "As I was saying earlier, I want to take revenge on my ex-boyfriend in high school," she continued. "And you, Fleur, my pretty friend, were the only one capable of doing it." She unclasped her hand and pointed her point finger in my direction.

Kumunot ang aking noo sa narinig. "What do you mean by that? And to tell you frankly, I don't do violence, Daniella. And you knew that," I immediately stated. I may be a brat — like how other people see me — but doing physical violence with others is the last thing I would ever do.

"What?!" Daniella and Julia exclaimed together, laughing out loud because of the words that came out of my mouth.

"What?" My forehead creased again. "Isn't seeking revenge on your ex will use force? Just like how high-school stories plot goes."

I know inserting fictional high-school love stories isn't necessary in our conversation, but to think that Daniella wants to use me to do this nonsense revenge over her ex is too cliché for my living. I may love insulating those who are below in me but I don't do things that are too much for me. I hurt weak people using my words and not by strength. That's just too low, to be honest.

I suddenly came out of my not-so-deep thoughts when Daniella and Julia's laughter became louder and louder. Their judging eyes say it all that we somehow disturbed their peace.
