#TWOT4
"We've heard what happened earlier at our school cafeteria." Panimula ni Daniella habang inaayos ang kanyang palamuti.
I rolled my eyes as the image of his ex's disgusted look at me lingered on my head. Until now, I still can't believe that someone had the guts to give me those kinds of emotions. Hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa rin matanggap ang katotohanan na may isang tao ang nandidiri sa buong pagkatao ko. I'm already used to being loved and admired by anyone. And the mere idea of someone — only one person — disliked my existence boiled the blood out of me.
My pride just can't take it!
"It just happened." I shrugged my shoulders and continued combing my hair.
"And we also heard that someone lent a hand to the girl you faced earlier," singit naman ni Julia.
The three of us are here in the girl's restroom, fixing ourselves while waiting for our last subject. As usual, Ashley isn't with us. Katulad ng palagi niyang ginagawa, mas pipiliin niyang magmukmok sa aming silid-aralan kaysa sumama sa amin para ayosan din ang kanyang sarili. Though it doesn't make her beauty less of a look. She's still pretty even though she only put a light lip tint on.
"Yeah . . ." I trailed off. "Daniella's stupid ex," I continued. I reached out to my small make-up pocket and I grabbed my lip tint.
Just like Ashley, I don't put too much makeup on my face. It's not like I don't want to, but because my face itches quickly. And that effect alone was already enough for me to only put some face powder and a lip tint on my face. And not to brag about it, but despite my light make-up, people still worship me like I am their living goddess.
Daniella glanced at me in the mirror as a playful smirk plastered her lips. "You already figured it out, huh?" she stated the obvious.
I rolled my eyes for the nth time while causing me to receive a laugh from my two friends.
"Obviously. Thank you for the clue," I sarcastically answered.
After the teasing the three of us threw at each other, we finally made our way back to our classroom. As we silently walked along the corridor, Daniella stopped mid-way which caused me and Julia halted our walk also. Nagtataka ko siyang tinapunan tingin, iniisip kung may nakalimutan ba kaming gamit sa restroom.
"Anyways . . ." Daniella finally spoke, trailing off her words. She clasps her hand right in front of her as a sweet smile slowly shows her lips. Her gaze then landed on me as she locked our eyes together. "You should stop bullying that trash in the meantime, Fleur."
I stared at her for a moment before paying her a sweet smile back. I crossed my arms above my chest as I wickedly tilted my head from my right side. My sweet smile then instantly became vile.
"Why would I stop?" mataray ko siyang tinaasan ng kilay, nanghahamon.
"Because Aciano dislikes those who think too highly about themselves," Daniella answered.
"Daniella, if you are worried about me failing to avenge you from your stupid ex, then why the need of choosing me to do this thing? If you don't trust my capabilities enough, then why not let Julia or Ashley play this little game of yours?" I straightened my poise and stared intently into the eyes of the person I was talking to. "What happened earlier at our school cafeteria has nothing to do with your revenge on your ex, Daniella. I can still make him fall head over heels in love with me and break him afterwards like how you wanted me to do," I continued seriously.
Silence then embraced the whole area as Daniella and I kept our stare locked into one another. Julia, on the other hand, has this amused smirk plastered on her face, as if she's watching an interesting live show in front of her.
