A/N: Okay, seriously, this chapter is way too long; it's a little over 10,000 words.

I hope you enjoy the final chapter of Season 1. I know I can't wait for Seasons 2 and 3.

Remember to comment your thoughts and reactions about the story. I love hearing from all of you.

I fixed some grammar issues and inconsistencies with Viktor's speed and how he perceived time. Shoutout to Madoa1 for calling me out for the inconsistency of Viktor's perceived time. Well, it's fixed now.

Immortal's blood rained on the ground before his two body halves hit the ground.

Up in the air, Mark was facing his father, whose hands were covered in the blood of Immortal.

"Mark. We need to talk," Nolan said as Mark zoned out.

Mark could only hear ringing as he stared in horror at his father's bloodshot eyes, hands dripping with blood, and blood splattered across his costume.

Mark shook his head in denial, "No," Mark yelled as he slugged his father, sending Nolan flying back, but just as he stopped himself, Mark tackled him through the air, grabbed his father's head, and looked for a control device.

"Someone's controlling you! Dad! Dad! Tell me how to stop them!" Mark yelled desperately as Nolan just stared blankly at his son.

"Mark...," Nolan said calmly as Mark got angry.

"Let my dad go!" he yelled, pulling at Nolan's suit. "Let him... let him go," Mark shouted.

"Stop," Nolan said as he grabbed Mark's hand, holding his suit, and swung him around before tossing Mark away.

Mark stopped in the air as he gritted his teeth and looked up at his father, who stared calmly at him.

"It's me, Mark. It's just me," Nolan said as he descended to Mark's level with his hands held out, still dripping with blood.

Mark gasped as Nolan touched his suit and looked down. Realizing he was covered in blood, Nolan sighed.

"This isn't how I wanted to do this, but I don't have a choice. It's time for you to know where I really come from. I am from Viltrum, but it's not the planet I've told you about. We have created a perfect civilization, but it took all our strength, determination, and courage to get there. In order for our people to reach their full potential, we had to remove the weak from our society. It was a long and difficult process. When it was over, our population was cut in half, but what emerged from the ashes was unstoppable. By the time I was born, Viltrum was already the greatest empire in our galaxy. We decided to make it the only empire in our galaxy. Once I was old enough, I joined the war effort. It was hard, but I believe in our cause. Some species resisted, of course, but no one could withstand us for long. Soon, our empire encompassed thousands of planets. But as our territory grew, our forces were stretched thin, and our expansion stopped. We needed a better, more efficient way to conquer worlds. Our most trusted officers were each given a planet to weaken by themselves. I was one of those lucky few," Nolan said with pride before his face fell.

"I couldn't tell your mother why I was here...," Nolan said with sadness before he looked up at Mark.

"But that time's come to an end... And now we need to get Earth ready to join the Viltrum Empire," Nolan explained as a tear rolled down Mark's cheek. Mark sniffed as tears streamed down his cheek, looking town to the ground.
