Soulless was having a wonderful day. Of course, it would be even better if the sun wasn't out, but some things just don't go the way you wanted them to.

After their new 'partner' teleported them to the forest the Human is often spotted walking through, they nearly shrieked in pain when the sunbeams shone directly onto their back. Thankfully Void merely asked if they needed to come back after they were done and left when he received their answer.

The moment the lightning began to happen for Void's teleport, Soulless condensed themselves and darted to the forest. Taking cover in the shadows; Fleeing from the injuries the sun brought him.

Pain radiated from their entire body because of the sun, but that did not bother him. Focusing on the scraps of energy they still held onto from before their containment, Soulless managed to heal the sun's damage.

Then they waited.

And waited some more.

And more.

Soulless hunted some animals in boredom, following their little energy lights that acted as beacons. They tried to flee, but they couldn't outrun him.

Their meager little balls of energy, their life force, were just too tantalizing to ignore for how hungry they were. Soulless would jab them with their 'hand' from the shadows and that was it for them. The mental string was attached, and Soulless would yank. The animals would yelpand howl and snarl at the force sucking their life away, but they were powerless next to someone like Soulless.

Their bodies would drop not even a minute later, and Soulless would move onto the next.

The forest was silent as they would dart between the trees and they relished in it. The animals knew they were the top of the food pyramid, and thought hiding would do something.

As if they couldn't see the bright light of their life shining away.

It was after Soulless nearly cleared the forest of all the large animals, the human stepped into their range and oh?

They were two.

Soulless wondered if Void Steve knew and kept it as a surprise, but they didn't care. They were starved of a proper meal, and one was walking its way right towards them.

Condensing themselves into their smaller form, a simple wisp, had the darting closer, watching, waiting for them to get deeper into the forest, where the sun cannot pierce the canopy of leaves.

They didn't not need any interruptions from any Steves.

A ball of light shone brighter than they could ever remembered for a Human. At least for the Untouched One. The white color shone as bright as the sun, the complete opposite for the second one. The one touched with The Void had an almost identical ball, but it was weak. A dying flame in a storm. Instead of white shining, it was a deep gray, barely visible behind the white.

It was obvious on which one to drain.

Soulless was intrigued though. The balls were nearly identical, a thing he has not seen. Even twins had different life forces yet this pair of twins had basically the same besides color and intensity. They had the same swirls, the same size, they fluctuated in unison.

It was fascinating as it was unnerving. No two Humans or Players should have near identical life forces. It was as if one was the copy of another.

Soulless watched the twins, for they have to be siblings, walk deeper into the forest, unknowing of their presence.

Listening to them bicker was amusing. They were simply children. Soulless could recall a time when he terrorized the Humans and Players. Players warned their children to not go into a forest alone, unless they wish for some demon to drain them of their energy until they couldn't respawn.
