To Call You Mine

so I wrote a poem, and I wanted to share it. its not a normal chapter but I found myself crushing on a girl who is literally the prettiest person I've probably ever seen. shes so nice and these are the words I wish I could share with her

i want to talk to you and hear about your day

i want to listen to your heart while being held in your embrace

i want to interlock hands

and whisper into your ear

to tell you that i've got you, always

but if only i had the courage to say

that i won't leave you during this lifetime

or the next

because i intend for our souls to never part ways

and we admire the same skies, 

the same stars, 

the same moon

but while you're looking at the wonders that are held thousands of miles away

i was too busy staring at you

because i want nothing

but to call you mine

and i guess

a part of me really wants to know

if at any point in time

did you feel the same way

i feel about you now?

because y'know what?

i love everything about you

maybe too much

but how could i not love that smile

that laughter

those eyes

that humor

that passion

how could i not love you if you were everything i've ever wanted.
