Y/n's POV "Hey my one and only love" "Zonaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"
Zona has been coming up with theses nicknames randomly and never stopping and it's starting to get annoying. I love her more than anything, but she's going too far. I know she thinks they are cute, but why can she just not call me by my nickname or even babe and I don't want her to go too too far.
"I thought it was cute" she says with a pout "You are cute, bu-" "No buts, what is it?" "Nothing" I just shrug it off and give her a small peck on her lips
Next day at the station
"So Arizona has been coming up with theses nicknames all week" "So?" My best friend, Maya, comments "I don't know, what if she goes too far and yk..." "I know what?" "Calls me one of the nicknames that the place called me, I'm scared Maya" "I'm sure that is pretty unlikely, but if you don't want it happening maybe tell her" "I can't, I feel terrible doing that, she looks so happy making up stupid nicknames" "Oh, Y/n, you are SUCH a people pleaser" she says while playfully pushing me "Come on you-" A voice booms above us and we quickly realize it's Captain Herrera "Girls! Stop talking start cleaning hoses" "Yes sir!" We both say in unison before rushing to go to the hoses
When we enter the room we take one glance at each other and start cackling
"Girls! I don't hear cleaning the hoses, I only hear laughter" Herrera calls out to us
We are both looking like fucking deers in head lights by now and we start immediately cleaning the hoses
"Y/n your beautiful blonde and blue eyes doctor girlfriend is here waiting for you!" Travis is calling out for me "Wait your gay ass a minutes Travis" I respond
Taking a look at Maya seeing if it's ok if I quickly can go to see my girl, she just nods and I thank her quickly before jogging to see my girlfriend
"Hey sweetheart"she says while I'm jogging up to her
There it is. I stop dead in my tracks, 4 feet away from my girlfriend, fuck
"Y/n?" I can hear someone whispering my name and everything just goes black

My head shoots up, it's the maiden of the foster house. Suddenly I'm 9 again
"Sweetheart, what did I tell you not to do?" Her raspy voice sounds like poison, slowly sinking into me "N...n...n...n...o..t..t spi...i...i.ll wate...r...r on the fl..o..o...r" "Speak child, don't stutter!" She slaps me across my face

I take a deep breath,open my eyes to see Zona and Maya's faces hovering above me
"You fainted" Zona says with worry clearly in her voice "Y/n..y/n" Maya tries to get my attention but my eyes are wondering everywhere "Y/n!" Maya says with a stern voice my eyes immediately attaches to her "Can i tell her about why it happened"
I can't speak, i can just nod and nod and nod, she needs to know she can't continue, i can't continue keeping this from her
Vic helps me sit up against a wall and I see Maya bringing Zona out of the room and few second later Zona comes running out and hugs me
"Y/n, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, i never meant for it to happen" "I know Zona, it's not your fault" "It is, oh b- can i call you babe?" "Yea" "I'm so sorry" she says while cupping my face "Zona! It's fine, plus you look hot in your scrubs, so I'll let it slide" i joke All I get in return in a slap in the arm
"Oww" "Shut up! Your co-workers can hear you" she says with a stern look on her face and I hear everybody laughing in the background
