Addison Montgomery

Addie's POV

"Hi mama" I see my 5 year old girl walking up to me with her hand in Arizona's
"Hey baby girl" I pick her up and place her on my waist
"Oh! Is my baby here?" Bailey comes up and snatches her out of my arms
"Hi auntie Miwada (Miranda)" Y/n mumbles while burying her head in the crook of her neck
"Hi cupcake"

Y/n has always been a very shy kid, but I love her for that. Everybody loves her at work, even though most of the time she is at work either way. It's ironic that she almost lives in the hospital, but she hates check-ups. Her favorite people are her auntie Miranda, her auntie Ari (Arizona), her auntie Callie and last but not least her auntie Melia (Amelia).

"Anyway, we are going home, for some snuggles, because little missy here had a long day, her auntie Ari brought her to her first dance class" I explain taking Y/n out of Bailey's grasp. "Y/n"I continue "Say bye bye to auntie Miranda and thank auntie Ari for bringing you to dance class"

"Bye auntie Miwanda (Miranda) and thank you auntie Ari" she sounds a bit disappointed, that's weird

She is usually way more excited than today, she is probably just tired, but if she is tired because she is refusing to put her head on my chest or in the crook of my neck which she usually does.

"Bye cupcake" Miranda gives her a small peck on her cheek

"If you ever need me again text or call me and it's was no problem, love you honeybear, see you soon" giving her a big smooch on her forehead which she usually does but Y/n pulls away and Arizona gives me a worried glance and I mouth "She is probably cranky because she's tired" to her she nods in agreement, I see Y/n looking up at me

As I start walking, I hear Amelia's footsteps behind me, we are currently since sharing an apartment together and we carpool together

"Hi girls" she says with her usual cheery voice

Y/n doesn't respond

"Hey bug" she keeps on trying to get Y/n's attention

Y/n doesn't respond

"Hey Y/n" her voice loosing that cheeriness slowly

Y/n is not in the mood to respond today

"Y/n Amelia Montgomery" she threatens using her full name with her voice and yes I did name my daughter after my best friend
"What?" Y/n replies sassily with an eye roll
"Y/n, that is no way to speak to anybody like that other than somebody mean or somebody bad and am I either one of those?" Amelia asks with glaring eyes while taking her out of my arms and placing her on the ground and going down to her height
"No" Y/n mumbles
"What did you say?"
"No" Y/n says a bit louder
"Y/n are you gonna apologize to your aunt?" I interrupt feeling this is the right time to butt-in
"I'm sorry auntie Amelia for being rude"
"I forgive you" Amelia says taking her hand, which Y/n at first was a bit resistant to do at first, while walking towards the car and helps her buckle into her seat and then the ride home is dead silent.

At home while I am helping Y/n get into her pyjamas I decide that this is the better time to confront her.

"Y/n, I am going to ask you something and you have to answer truth fully, got it?"
