Y/N'S POV
We've had a rush of patients and as an intern and I was assigned to General with Dr.Grey and she left me alone with half of the patients to take care of and most of them died and them I got screamed at by 3 families and Dr.Grey did nothing about it. I'm drained, I just want Teddy, we've been dating for a few months now. She is probably busy, I'm walking slowly to one of the on-call rooms when Jo comes running up to me, she was assigned OB/GYN with Dr.Deluca which she and I both adore.
"So guess what" she says with probably the brightest smile I've ever seen "Hm?" "I got to deliver 3 babies today with no complications, Dr.Deluca even said I might even be better than you" she says while nudging my arm jokingly, but I am just too tired for this "Guess what?" I say with my fakest smile "What?" Jo replies excitingly "I got to deliver the news of 6 dead people to their families and half of them screamed at me and Dr.Grey said that I might be the worst intern she's ever had" I say nudging her away while going into the on-call room and I catch a glimpse of Jo with a small frown on her face which I feel kinda guilty for
I flop down on the on-call bed and then I suddenly hear a voice boom above me
"Y/n, is that you?" I hear a familiar voice "Teddy?" I question "Y/n!" She exclaims while getting off the top bunk to join me on the bottom one
Her smile turns into a concerned look
She gets up from sitting next to me to lock the on-call room
"What happened Baby?" she says while cupping my cheeks "Just I bad day" I mumble "You want to sleep?" "Mhm" I respond while she lies down next to me
Suddenly I can't hold it in anymore I burst into tears
She holds me tight while I cry until we fall asleep cuddled together

"Y/n!Y/n!Y/n!" I hear Teddy screaming my name "What" i respond groggily "We missed a 911 page, they paged both of us...an hour ago..." "WHAT!?" I scream and jump out of bed and run out
While I am running in the hallways I bump into someone else
I fall down and look up ready to apologize when I see it's Dr.Grey
I get up and fix my posture and immediately bow my head down and shame and start apologizing profusely
"Dr.Grey, I am so sorry for missing the page and bumping into you, I'm so very sorry, I apologize for it all, I will do as much scut as you want me to do, I'll be on your service for as many weeks as you need, again I'm so sor-"
Sweat is dripping down my forehead when Dr.Grey interrupts me
"Y/n Y/l/n, stop it before you give yourself a heart attack, it's fine, they by accidentally paged everyone for a 911, instead of only Dr.Webber, now calm yourself down"
I have shaky hands from just waking up and Dr.Grey sees that and takes my hands in hers
"Everything is ok, now go rest for atleast 2hours and then go home and be ready for tomorrow, everything is fine"
"Thank you" is all I can mutter before wobbling back to the on-call room in which a few minutes later Teddy joins me
