You groggily open your eyes and hit your alarm clock, morning drowsiness taking over, you get up and get dressed into your uniform and head to the kitchen to get breakfast. As you're walking down there you see Tokoyami.
"Hey Tokoyami!" You say, starting to wake up a little more.
"Good morning Y/N." He replies, "I made coffee, it's still hot and in the kitchen."
"Thanks!" You exclaim, hoping the coffee would fully wake you up.
You start heading to the kitchen and grab a cup of coffee, you silently drink it and was almost done when Todoroki and the others come down.
"Hey Y/N-chan." Todoroki says, grabbing a cup of coffee, somehow already fully awake.
"Good morning Todoroki-kun!" You say, smiling, a little blush forming on your cheeks.
A couple minutes later we head to class, now that you were fully awake you were able to talk and have way more conversations with people. You decided you would talk to Tokoyami on your way to class today.
"Hey Tokoyami!" You yell, running to catch up with him as he turns to look at you.
"Hello Y/N, what is it?" He asks, calmly.
"Well I was wondering if we could walk to class together?" You say, hoping his reply would be yes.
"Sure." He replies and your eyes light up.
You smile at him and start walking to class, you both soon start a conversation and get to know each other a little bit more.
"So can you tell me more about yourself or your quirk?" You ask him as he looks at you.
"Well my quirk, Dark Shadow, allows me to manifest a sentient shadow monster from my body that I can materialize and contract freely. Dark Shadow's energy is limited and can be drained by bright light. When it runs out of energy, Dark Shadow retracts back into my body." Tokoyami explains, "What about your quirk? How does it work?"
I Got this explanation from google, just changed the pronouns to different pronouns
"My quirk allows me to control the earth, like you heard on my first day, apparently I can also control monsters made from the earth, like at the training camp. The name of my quirk is pretty simple too, it's just called earth." You explain, not knowing how to put as much detail as he did when he in explained his quirk. "I think that's about it. I'm not able to explain my quirk as well as you explained yours, because mine can be like the most simple quirk ever!" You finish.
"It's fine, I understand how your quirk works, that was all the explaining I needed." Tokoyami says as you reach class.
You walk inside and see Mr. Aizawa wasn't there yet, "Bye Tokoyami, talk to you at lunch?" You ask.
"Sure." He replies as you wave goodbye and head to your seat.
You finally finish your classes and head to lunch, I'm so excited to get to know Tokoyami better, now that you think about it we haven't really talked much, even though we became friends. You think to yourself when a tap on the shoulder snaps you out of your thoughts. You turn around and see Todoroki.
"Hey Todoroki-kun! Do you need anything?" You ask, raising a brow.
"W-well I was wondering if you wanted to have lunch with me." Todoroki says and you give him a sympathetic look.
"I'm sorry Todoroki-kun, i'm having lunch with Tokoyami today, maybe tomorrow?" You reply, giving him one of your awkward smiles.
"Y-yeah, sure, tomorrow sounds fine." Todoroki mumbles, "Well I better go, bye Y/N-chan."
"Bye!" You say, waving back at him and making your way to the table Tokoyami was sitting at.
'Why did he look so depressed when I told him I was having lunch with Tokoyami?' You ask yourself as you reach Tokoyami's table, "Hey Tokoyami!" You say, setting your food down and sitting across from him.
"Hey Y/N." He replies.
You both start a conversation and get to know each other better, apparently your conversation had gone a long time because next thing you know the bell rings, signaling you to head to class. You get up and were about to say goodbye when he asks you something, "Y/N, would you like to hangout after school?"
You look at him, "Sure! I would love to!" You reply and you hear the second bell go off, "We better get to class, we'll see after school!" You wave goodbye and walk away.
Soon enough, school finally ended and you meet Tokoyami in the living room, "Would you mind if I showered? Training was a lot more tiring than I expected." You ask.
"You're right, we should both shower, meet back here in...thirty minutes?"
"Sounds like a plan!" You reply as you walk to the elevator to go to your dorm and shower.
After finishing showering and getting dressed, you speed walk to the elevator, knowing if you ran Iida would somehow find out and chase you down. The elevator finally opens the door and you quickly hop out. I hope I'm not late! You think to yourself as you walk into the living room. You look around and notice he's not here yet. Phew i'm not late, I'm early! You then hear the elevator open and see Tokoyami in a sweatshirt and jeans walk up to you.
"I hope you haven't been waiting long. " He says and you shake your head.
"No! I just got out here, you didn't keep me waiting at all!" You reply, trying your best not to sound rude in any possible way.
He chuckles, "Come on, I was thinking we could take a walk around the park and do whatever we feel like after."
"Okay!" You say as you start walking beside him.
You both do exactly that, you go for a stroll around the park then rogue it after, you both decide to get ice cream and then go back to the dorms. You were in the middle of eating your ice creams when Tokoyami asks, "I don't want to barge into your personal business but... why did the villains want to take you?"
You look away, "It's fine, you see, Shigaraki has been trying to get me to join the league for some time now and well Dabi, let's just say he 'loves' me." You explain, quoting the word loves with your hands.
"I see, I really appreciate you trusting me with this information Y/N." Tokoyami says, taking a small bite out of his ice cream.
"It's fine!" You reply, licking the bottom of the ice cream but top of the cone before it started dripping.
"Does anyone else know?" Tokoyami asks.
"The only other person I've told is Todoroki-kun. Other than him and some of the teachers, no one." You reply.
You continue eating your ice creams when you decide you both should be getting to the dorms. You get back and before walking into the elevator turn to him, "This was fun! We should do it again sometime!"
"Yeah, we should." Tokoyami responds and you walk into the elevator, giving him a short wave goodbye.
