Chapter 3: Him Again!!

As Aisha stepped out of the interview hall, she felt relieved and hopeful.Aisha was thinking about how she got selected for the interview while waiting for the bus, as she hadn't given any interviews yet. But her thoughts were interrupted by a voice behind her.

'Excuse me, Aisha?'

she turned around to see.

Rahul, Advait's best friend, standing there with a smile on his face.

Rahul : Hey, I saw you come out of the interview. Do you need a ride home?

Aisha hesitated for a moment, not sure what to say. She didn't want to be rude, but she also didn't want to get into a car with a stranger.

Aisha: No, thanks.

Rahul : Come on, I'll drop you off..itna toh kr skta hu mein.

Aisha: I'm sorry but mein bus le lungi.

Rahul: Please give me a chance to apology. You know, when Advait got drunk and said some things that he shouldn't have. He's really sorry about it and he wants to make it up to you.

Aisha: I don't know and I don't want to cause any trouble.

Rahul: You're not causing any trouble. You deserve an apology and I want to make sure you get it. Please, let me take you home and we can talk more about it on the way.

Aisha: (she sighed, and nodded) Okay, fine. Thank you for offering.

As they walked towards Rahul's car, Aisha felt a strange sensation in the pit of her stomach. She couldn't explain it, but something didn't feel right.

Advait was standing across the street, watching them. Aisha looked at Rahul and then she got into the car."

As Aisha got into Rahul's car, she noticed that something was different. Rahul handed her a piece of bracelet and Aisha's heart skipped a beat. She looked at the bracelet and realized that it was the piece of her mom's bracelet that Advait and his friends had broken. Aisha was so grateful that Rahul had found it and given it back to her.

Aisha : Thank you so much, ( she said, feeling a wave of relief wash over her) mujhe lga tha mene humesha ke liye is piece ko kho dya hai.

Rahul : (smiled)
I'm glad kisi kaam ka toh aya mein.. but mere pas or ek gift hai.

He handed her a new star moon glittery bracelet.
Aisha was surprised.

Aisha : Wow, beautiful, (she said, admiring the bracelet)...But mein ye nhi le skti.

Rahul paused for a moment.

Rahul: I know ye bracelet dur dur Tak tumhari mom ki bracelet ke barabar nhi ho skta..us bracelet se tumhari emotions...memories sab juri hui thi..but I wanted to apologize for what happened. I hope this new bracelet will help you feel better.

Aisha was touched by Rahul's gesture.

Aisha: okay mein rakh leti hu..boht pyaara hai,Thank you ( she said, feeling a lump form in her throat).

As Rahul continued to drive, Aisha suddenly realized that she didn't know his name. She wanted to ask him, but she wasn't sure how to do it..

Aisha:( she said, hesitantly) Can I ask you something?

Rahul:(turned to her, curious)
Haan, kaho na.

Aisha : tumhara naam kya hai?( Aisha asked, feeling a little embarrassed.)

Rahul : (laughed)
Humne itni baatein kr li..or ek doosre ka naam hi nhi pata..Mera naam Rahul hai..umm Rahul Malhotra..tumne pehle kiun nhi poocha?
