"So, Advait, how's the groom feeling today? Nervous about the big night ahead?" Nikhil asked while sipping.

"I am not nervous. I don't know why people keep assuming that. It's not like I've never done this before." Advait pauses, looking at Nikhil with a hint of defensiveness "I've been with women before, Nikhil. I know what I'm doing."

Nikhil sets his drink down, his expression turning serious "Advait, listen to me. I've stood by you through thick and thin, but your reckless behavior has gone too far. From Aisha's kidnapping to all the other messes you've gotten yourself into... (shakes his head) I can't keep enabling you."

Advait looks at Nikhil, taken aback by his sudden seriousness "What are you talking about, Nikhil? I thought we were just having a good time..."

Nikhil (firmly) "A good time? You call putting Aisha in danger and ruining her life a good time? You said you wanted her, that you loved her, I helped you. So, if you really mean it, then take responsibility for your actions.

Advait rolls his eyes "Oh, come on Nikhil. Don't be so dramatic. I was just having a little fun. " (picks up his drink again) "And besides, Aisha's a big girl. She can take care of herself."

Nikhil frustrated "That's not the point, Advait! The point is you're not taking responsibility for your actions. You're not thinking about how your behavior affects others. (slams his hand on the table) You need to grow up and start thinking about someone other than yourself for once!"

Advait (shrugs) "Whatever, Nikhil. You're just being a buzzkill. (takes a sip of his drink) I'm not going to change who I am just to please you or anyone else."

Advait's Mom: (storms in, her expression stern) "Advait, what is going on here? Nikhil, what did he do now?"

Nikhil: (trying to downplay the situation) "Ah, Aunty, it's nothing, really. Advait's just a little... nervous, that's all."

Advait's Mom: (sternly) "Nervous? Nervous?! He's been drinking like a fish and causing trouble, and you call that nervous?!
(to Advait) You're married now, Advait. You can't keep behaving like a reckless bachelor. Stop drinking and go to your room. Aisha is waiting for you.

Advait: (defiantly) "Mom, I can handle my drink. And I don't need you lecturing me on how to live my life. I'm a grown man, for crying out loud!"

Advait's Mom: (firmly) "You may be a grown man, Advait, but you're still my son and you will respect me. Now, go to your room and sober up before you do any more damage."

Advait: (sighs, rolling his eyes) "Fine, Mom. Happy now? I'm going to my room. (mutters under his breath) Like I'm some kind of child..."

Advait's Mom: (sternly) "And Advait? No more drinking tonight. You need to clear your head and think about your actions."

Advait: (exasperated) "Yes, Mom. No more drinking. (walks away, shaking his head) Great, just great. Married life is already feeling like a prison..."

Advait's Mom watches him go, a mix of concern and frustration on her face.

As Aisha sat amidst the ruins of her wedding night, her heart a turbulent mix of anger and despair, she heard the heavy, unsteady footsteps of him approaching the room. She could smell the alcohol even before he entered, and her body tensed up, anticipating the worst.

The door creaked open, and he staggered in, his eyes bloodshot and unfocused. He took in the sight of the destroyed decorations and the flowers strewn across the floor, a bitter smile curling on his lips.

"What the..?" he slurred, his voice a dangerous growl. She spun around, eyes blazing with defiance.

"Destroyed your perfect night,"her voice shaking but firm. "Just like you destroyed my life."

Advait walks towards Aisha, a smirk on his face "Well, well, well. You destroyed our wedding bed, my dear wife."

She stood up, facing him defiantly, her hands clenched into fists "Khabardar agar is naam se pukara mujhe"

("Beware if you call me by this name ...")

Advait: (laughs) "Oh, come on Aisha. Don't be so uptight. It's just a bed. We can always get a new decorator. Or maybe you'd prefer the floor, huh?"

He took a few unsteady steps towards her, but she didn't back down. Instead, she met his gaze with a steely resolve.

Aisha spat. "You might have forced me into this, but you can't make me love you."

He laughed, a hollow, mirthless sound that echoed in the room. "Love? Who said anything about love? This is about payback, pure and simple."

Then what now?" she asked, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and defiance. "You’ve got what you wanted. What now?"

For a moment, he just stared at her, his expression unreadable. Then, with a weary sigh, he turned away and collapsed onto the bed, lying there with his arm draped over his eyes.

"Do whatever you want," he muttered. "I'm too tired to care right now."

She looked around the room, considering her options. This is her reality now, Advait's wife, she can't help but wanting to escape. Leaving the room felt like a retreat, and she didn't want to give him the satisfaction of thinking he had scared her away. Instead, she walked over to the small sofa in the corner, far enough from the bed.

She sat down heavily, pulling her knees up to her chest. The tears she had held back finally began to fall, silently streaming down her face. Her life had taken a turn she could never have imagined, and she felt utterly lost.

As she sat there, the sounds of his drunken snoring filling the room, she vowed to herself that she would find a way out of this nightmare. She would not let him win. She would find a way to reclaim her life and her freedom, no matter what it took.

The night stretched on, long and sleepless, as she stared into the darkness, her mind racing with thoughts of escape and defiance. She knew the road ahead would be difficult, but she had no intention of giving up. This was just the beginning of her fight.
