33. Eid Celebration

" Aslam Walyekum " Rumaisa said loudly as she entered inside. She was busy checking her phones while walking towards the living room where everyone were settled.

Everyone turned toward her. And Ranvijay felt like he saw her after ages though they had just yesternight. He was looking at her who had her Scrubs on with a messy bun , a stethoscope around her neck , her overall on her left forearm and her bag with her mobile in her hand.

She looked up from her mobile and saw everyone present there. She smiled at them and proceeded to take their blessings which also followed by the Eid wishes . And as always She ignored Ranvijay.

Ranvijay was hurt but didn't showed it on his face as he knew he deserve this . At last when she went near Kaushalya to touch her feet

"Abb Har baar aise thodina peir chuoge" Kaushalya said while hugging her.

( will touch my feet like this every time )

Rumaisa just smiled in response. Anusuya asked her to get freshed till the time she went to arrange some snacks.

Rumaisa went to her room . She was just thinking about Ranvijay . How he was looking at her all the time. She never fails to notice his gazes upon her but she neglects them .

She doesn't want to be in more mess then she already is. She has seen more than any person has seen in her age . She isn't ready to allow someone to see her vulnerable sides which she didn't even showed her family from years.

In these thoughts she didn't even realize that a small pair of legs followed her to her room . When she turned back to close the door she noticed him with a cute angry pout standing there in his wearing a cute off white kurta Pajama set .

She mentally awed at him and picked him up and he instantly wrapped his legs and hands around her body like a baby Koala.

She closed the door with one hand as her other was busy holding him .

Ranvijay was looking at them and ofcourse he can't do anything except for looking at her. He badly wants to hold her in his arms , hide her from everyone , make her forget her past whatever it was . He can clearly see her being tired . Her slow steps , red eyes , her tired body being dragged her to do the work by herself.

Ranvijay was lost in thoughts when he got a call from his trusted men Abhimaan . He excused himself and went out to attend the call.

On the other side when Anusuya went to arrange snacks other ladies also followed her to help to which she denied but they insisted.

Anusuya was plating them whereas also scolding Rumaisa in her mind for overwork herself.

"Kya soch rahi ho Anusuya? " Kaushalya asked her while helping.

( What are you thinking Anusuya )

"Kuch nahin bas Rumaisa ke barey main. Usne subah se kuch nahin khaya hai. Sehri se pehle Emergency ke wajah se chali gayi aur abhi ayi." Anusuya said while shaking her head.

( Nothing just about Rumaisa. She has not eaten anything since morning. She left before Sehri due to emergency and came now." )

"Yeh bhi Kamal ki ladki hai. Jab woh hamare saath thi tab bhi aise hi karti thi . Kaam ke chakkar main khana bhul jati thi" Kaushalya said while seconding her opinion.

( She is also a wonderful girl. She used to do the same when she was with us. Used to forget to eat in the rush of work. )

Anusuya hummed and worked . The youngsters helped them to serve the snacks to elders meanwhile Rumaisa cameout of her room .
