91. Momin won the bet

Two and half years later

It has been two and a half years. Time has flown by like a breeze. Two and a half years have unfolded in the lives of Rumaisa and Ranvijay.

While everything around them transformed, some things stayed the same. Their love, affection, and understanding remained constant. With each day that passed, their love only grew stronger.

Not a single day went by without him expressing his affection for her. Likewise, not a day passed when she didn't love him back.

Their lives continued on, unchanged.

Their empire flourished, and their bond deepened. From that point on, their lives were filled with tranquility. Following Gautam Verma's passing, not just Rumaisa and Ranvijay, but everyone enjoyed a life of peace.

This was another day when Rumaisa just got free from her hospital duties and was getting ready to depart but got a call .

As she looked at the familiar name , she quickly swipe the green button and attached the phone to her ear. She calmly spoke "Hello"

But from the other side a frantic voice asked about her whereabouts. She knew what must have happened as she replied "Main hospital mein hoon"

She heard a panic stricken voice informing "Humaima's contraction has started"

She nodded and calmly instructed him "Achha aao hospital . Main yahan dekhti hoon"

And in mean time she asked the head nurse of gynae ward to prepare for the OT room in case they had to go for C-sec . And then called Ranvijay who was waiting for her in the car and informed about the change in plan .

Within few minutes , the whole family of Momin reached the hospital including a screaming Humaima in Momin's arm who was later shifted to a stretcher .

She was already dressed up in her OT gown . She walked along with the stretcher and as the ward boy pushed the stretcher inside the OT , she stopped Momin from entering inside saying "We will . Shh . We will look after her"

But he denied instantly while trying to get inside the OT . So at the end not having enough patience to argue with him , she agreed "Thik hai mere baap . Aaja" But not before instructing a ward boy to help him getting sterile before entering inside the OT.

She entered the OT to see the gynae checking her dilation when he entered inside wearing an OT gown with gloves and mask.

She instructed him to stand beside Humaima while reading her report . "Chal ja wahan"

Whereas Humaima was screaming loudly making everyone worried except the medical professionals . Momin stood beside her and caressed her hair as she was crying due to the pain.

The gynae announced "She is dilating rapidly"

She heard Momin and Humaima talking . Well precisely Momin was coaxing her and she was shouting at him .

Rumaisa stood on the other side of Humaima and encouraged her with soft words as the gynae announced again "I can see the head"

Rumaisa wiped Humaima's sweat mumbling "Huma. Push" . She nodded and tried to push but the exhaustion was too strong for her to even keep her eyes open.
