I didn’t know what was happening. All I remembered was Jake’s jaws lowering towards my neck. Was I dead? Trying to look around, I could see absolutely nothing. It was pitch black. I slowly tried to move my arms and found that they were chained to something that sounded like a pipe. My mind raced. What was happening?

Pulling on my once injured arm, I found that it wasn’t hurt anymore. Did his beast heal me? If so, where was I now? Why didn’t he take me with him? Did they hurt him?
I started to panic, pulling at the chains and crying out when they dug into my skin. “Aww look, our little catch is awake.” I heard a familiar voice croon at me, and I stopped everything.

My breath caught in my throat as I recognized the voice. He flipped on a fluorescent light, and I fliched back, scrunching my eyes shut against the bright light before looking over the monster standing across from me.

Darian stared at me with a wicked grin across his face. “Look at you, pretty as a picture, Belle. Don’t worry, your little wolf is absolutely losing his mind right now over your pretty little figure. I made him think he killed you. That fucking sissy passed out after his beast healed you can you believe that. That beast has never cared about anything. Even before when it was in others it would kill their mates any time it came out to play, but somehow you managed to wrap that fucking beast around your pretty little finger. I wanted him to kill you, he’s so attached to you that it makes me sick. I thought if we forced a shift that for sure his beast would take it’s frustration out on you, but here we are.” He pulled a knife out from his pocket before his wicked smile widened.

“Honestly, I’m almost happier that it happened this way because little did I know that hound was hiding a blood angel.” I swallowed hard. How did he figure it out? “You’re probably wondering how I figured it out, right?” I didn’t say anything, but he kept going anyways. “Well you were covered in blood when I took you all I had to do was take it down to the lab and run a couple quick little tests to find out that you’re incredibly valuable to me, not to mention that you’re a pregnant blood angel. Do you have any idea how much money something like you will fetch me? Well here’s the total, even if I killed you outright right now you would be worth millions, but the beauty of this whole thing is that if I keep you alive and continuously sell your blood along with parts of the fetal tissue as it develops you are a continuous money maker. Each tiny vial of blood is worth a million alone.” He laughed, and I wanted to throw up. “Aww don’t look so sad Belle it’s not like I’m going to kill you.”

Then he walked up to me before slowly slicing the blade across my cheek. I didn’t give him any reaction to the pain that sliced through me. He held a vile against the side of the wound, pressing against it to make it bleed further.
I tried to pull away from him, but he held the knife against my abdomen. “If you fight me in any way, I will kill your baby. I don’t need it. It’s simply a bonus, but you are money enough to live out the rest of my eternity alone. Do you understand me, little girl?”

I stopped fighting him and nodded. If something happened and I managed to get out or if Jake managed to find me I couldn’t risk not ever being able to give us a family, I couldn’t risk our baby even if I felt completely helpless.

*Jake*

My mother dropped us off in the main pack area where I wasted no time. There was no other way than to just go for it, considering I already brought them in. People would be on us soon if we didn’t do anything. The three of us shifted, and I led them back on the short run to the back of the property to my uncle’s house.

Shifting once more as we got there,  I quickly briefed them on all of the entrances and exits before telling them the girls were more than likely being held in the basement, and we moved.
