I was getting worried about Belle. She was laying her head against my shoulder as I drove us back and I couldn't help but to notice she was a little warm and sounded a little stuffy.

Pulling into the garage I hopped out immediately going over to where Belle was getting out. She stumbled slightly, seeming just out of it, so I pulled her up against me before Jaz climbed out behind her. Jaz shared a worried glance with me looking at Belle and we decided to just get inside as quickly as possible. I held her to my side, steadying her as we made our way up to the door. I unlocked it, pushing Belle inside out of the cold first. I took her jacket from her hanging it up before I just picked her up taking her up to bed. She barely protested telling me she was feeling far worse than she was letting on. She buried her face in the side of my neck, closing her eyes against the light.

I didn't turn the light on in our room, instead I just gently set her down on the bed before kneeling to pull her shoes off. "I'm okay, I just don't feel great." She said in a weak protest as I placed her shoes back into the closet.

"That's all the more reason for me to take care of you." I smiled at her as I came back over beside her. "Plus not only do you have a bad headache, but you're also running a fever and it's more than likely my fault for having you outside in the cold so much."

She laid her head against my abs as I stood in front of her, "I'd do it all again too, it's just a cold I'll be okay. I used to get them all the time. I just need some rest."

"Well then, lets get all of this off you and put you to bed." She giggled and wrapped her arms around my waist.

"I love you, even when you're being so overprotective."

"I love you too, and you're the one that signed on for this. I warned you from the moment you said you wanted to date me."

"You did, and I haven't regretted a single second since."

I chuckled at her, "now don't make me start thinking you like my overprotectiveness."

She giggled and I pulled away from her walking into the bathroom. I pulled out a cup filling it with some water before dumping a couple of pain killers that I had kept on hand for Jaz in my palm. She took them drinking the water before wrapping her arms around my neck and letting me pick her up. I walked her into the bathroom before setting her on the counter as I started the shower for her. I helped her out of the dress before she stepped into the shower and I walked out of the bathroom gently closing the door behind me. I pulled out one of my clean shirts for her since she loved sleeping in them along with a pair of clean underwear and a towel for her. Setting them all out on the sink in the bathroom I turned the fireplace on in the room letting the soft light illuminate it just enough that she would be able to see and sat on the bed waiting for her to be done.

It wasn't long before she made her way out clean of makeup and smelling of her favorite vanilla body wash making me smile. She came over to the bed sitting down before laying down curling onto her side and I pulled the blankets up over her before pressing a kiss to her cheek and went to take a shower myself.

Walking out of the bathroom I looked her over, she was exhausted and already asleep before I laid behind her. She instantly curled into me and I smiled, gently pulling her in closer and closing my eyes.

I made her stay in bed all day the next day taking care of her to make sure her fever didn't get any worse and I was more than happy to just be able to relax and snuggle with her as we watched movies all day while she rested. I loved taking care of her, and it wasn't like I was going to get sick from her. I just felt bad that she had gotten sick because of me.

She slowly got better through the week, but we ended up just staying home letting her recover before I was willing to take her out anywhere. By the end of the week she was back to her normal self and happily walking around being energetic as always.
