[Beast era]

That night, was a beautiful one. Was a mesmerizing one. Dazai thought as he looked at the night sky. It was probably around 2 am, when he did. He looked at the night sky which was totally clear; no clouds at all, only stars. Full of stars. How rare it was for him to see a night full of stars when his sky was always dark, where he never had stars.

Where it was all pitch black.

It was normal for the port mafia to be awake at that time anyway. As the boss of the organization, he could sleep, but he somehow didn't. He wanted to observe this one beautiful night, where the stars might fall down. When it was about to be a star fall.

He looked back at Chuuya, who was still smoking, doing no shit. He was kinda tired of the day. He glanced at the brunette when he looked at him.

"Come here,"

Even though he didn't say anything, he just went there and accompanied Dazai without a word. Dazai knew he wouldnt say anything or stuff, so he continued to look at the sky again.
He smiled warmly as a gentle breeze blew.

"Quit smoking and maybe enjoy the sky," he broke the silence once again as Chuuya looked at him at once, then he sighed and stopped because he didn't want to ruin the mood, the atmosphere just trying to argue.

There went a shooting star, out of nowhere in the sky.

"Look, Chuuya, it's a shooting star." he exclaimed with sort of a joy as Chuuya looked at the direction, then at Dazai, who was still looking at it.

"Did you know you get whatever you want if you wish at this moment?" he said excitedly as the ginger didn't say a word anyway. He was too busy to observe Dazai's childishness. As if he hadn't known anyway.

"Well, i wish, when i go, i will be just as free." Dazai wished, not looking at the ginger, but looking at the shooting star.

Chuuya glanced at Dazai for once, then at the sky. He wanted to speak up about the wish which Dazai just made, but he didn't. He already felt empty.

"just as free, huh?" he mumbled to himself as he looked at Dazai once again, who was smiling at the sky. His redish brown eyes were sparkling, he could see. A look of concern took over the ginger's face.

"The shooting star is gone. You didn't wish anything, did you?" he asked him playfully. And no, he didn't.
"Well, atleast i got to wish." he smiled warmly at Chuuya, which made his heart heavy.

Chuuya really didn't expect that kind of thing to happen to Dazai, well, it happened, anyway.

Once again, the shooting star, came. Not at that night though, a different night. A night when he was at Dazai's grave, drinking wine, once again. He looked at the sky. The sky reminded him of the night when Dazai wished.

His blue eyes sparkle as he looks at the shooting star, which appeared that night as well. He didnt cry, nor broke down. He wasn't acting tough either. He was just feeling empty, as if the tears won't bring him back, anyway. He brought flowers for his grave, he placed them a long while ago. He'd been there for like a couple of hours already, he didn't mind.. Staying a little longer.

He again, looked at the night sky. Some words were spoken, breaking the complete silence. His voice seemed to sound empty. He spoke with Dazai's grave, once again.

"You got what you wanted.."

"...didn't you? Shitty bastard.."
