HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO MY AMERICANS! I was born and raised in good old Murica, so I decided why not make an extra mini story? This has nothing to do with the current plot line :) Enjoy!
Meri's POV:
BOOM!
The fireworks were going off in New York, everyone crowded together in the large hotel room. I smiled while looking up at the many fireworks going off in the air. It made me feel happy.
"America-kun! Happy birthday and Independence Day!" Japan squealed
"Thank you Japan! I'm glad you're all here today, it means a lot to me." I smiled and looked at her.
"Of course! I even convinced Germany to take a break from work just for this occasion!"
I felt a hand on my shoulder and slightly jumped. Why do I keep getting jumpscared?!
"Hey, happy birthday America." Russia whispered to me. It was a bit SUS but I don't think its anything to worry about.
"Thanks Russia..." UGHHHH I feel so awkward right now... This is why I can never talk to Russia normally...
I heard clapping behind me and turned around
"Happy birthday to you~ happy birthday to you!" Myanmar sang teasingly. I stared at her with a disappointed look on my face. Everyone laughed while I just looked back at the window. I felt a hand brush against mine and looked to the right. Russia was looking down blankly at the floor
"Hey, are you ok?" I was a bit concerned, because his eyes quite literally looked dead. No thoughts behind those eyes. Not a single thought.
He just stayed quiet, not moving, not thinking. Although he did grab my hand and held it tightly. Is something wrong with him? Did he have too much vodka? Whatever it is, it certainly isnt like him to do this.
I turned to look at the window again. It all feels so calm... fireworks bursting in the air, my friends laughing and having fun. Russia being... Russia???
July 4th is my favorite day of the year.
This is a little late, it's 12:06 AM currently so I didn't make it on July 4th 😭 Anygays I thought I might share a few fun facts with y'all about this AU!
Fun fact:
1. Japan is a Nekomata, she has 2 tails. I thought of this idea when Kirara was released and I thought it would be cool
2. Whenever America doesn't have his sunglasses on, he's wearing eye contacts. Specifically brown ones. Nobody knows what his real eye color is.
3. There is a countryhuman world that the countryhumans can teleport to anytime they like. They mostly stay on earth to deal with their emo countries
