Third Person POV:

The first week of staying in Belgium seemed fine. Nothing too crazy happened expect for a bit of tension between Russia and America that made Myanmar flee to her room and lock herself in there for at least 2 hours. Nothing was really going on. No meetings, nothing. It was all just complete silence from the organizations that summoned them there. The place was nice though. It was clean, spacious, and for some very epic reason only authorized staff were allowed in the building where the countrys' rooms were, which meant mostly peace and quiet for the time they spent there.

Despite all these great things, America had been suffering internally for quite a while now. Perhaps it was a feeling of unease being around his enemies, but he already knew what that felt like. This was different. Every night, the same dream over and over and over again. His eyes. It was a burning pain. He would wake up feeling nauseous, it felt so familiar yet so distant, it was just infuriating.

In between this time, the states each took turns leaving the room while Myanmar and Russia were away. It wasn't practical, but it was all they could do for now. However, Virginia and New York wouldn't stop pestering America about his strange behavior, no matter how many times Indiana told them to leave him alone.

It just seemed different.

This behavior wasn't new- at least to the northeastern states it wasn't. America was in a similar condition during the civil war.

"Listen dad, I've seen this from you before, so don't try to hide it. Even after everything, you're still our old geezer, so stop pretending you don't know!"

"This one time I agree with him."

But he refused to answer. Not that he wanted to hide anything from them, it's just that he had no idea what was going on himself. There was only one other logical answer, but over a hundred years have passed and thus it seems hard to believe.

"America? Ame... hellooo??"

"America! Earth to Starry?"

"Ame, dear?"

America jumped and looked up, surrounded by his friend, Japan, and family

"H-Hey! Sorry- I-"

"It's fine, I thought you were about to have a stroke!"

Australia, France, and Japan were staring at him intently.

Despite colonies not being related, America had a strong bond with them. Most of them, at the very least. That included Australia. Japan had befriended America despite her father's hatred towards him.

America hadn't really known France that much, but at the end of the day she was still his adoptive aunt.

And besides that, she knew a lot about America back from when he was just a frail little girl who was too afraid to speak up. She saw him grow up, even without her brother there to support America.

She also knew.

Canada knew.

But most importantly, he was watching all of this.

"I'm fine. Now, about that store you were talking about earlier?"

"Ahh, so you WERE listening!!"

"Of course I was... now come on, before the shop closes."

And despite the innocent facade, everyone knew something was wrong with him

But only one other person knew exactly what the fuck was going on

After all, he was the one behind everything.

How could he not be?

Only someone dead could be this haunting.

"I know you're there, (REDACTED). Don't hide from me."

America glared into the now dark space. He knew he passed out in the real world, and he knew who brought him here. You wouldn't need a nuclear scientist to figure it out, it's all clear in front of you. So why aren't you facing it? What's holding you back?

Weakness.

"Answer me! What do you want?! Wh-"

He jolted awake when he felt China slap him on the face

"C-China- what the hell was that for-"

"Meiguo! You're awake!"

America groaned and looked up at the taller man

"What are you- wait a minute... why is everyone here and... staring at me...?"

"You were just walking right past us and suddenly fell to the floor! Jeez, even I got worried for a moment. Don't tap out on us like that again, you're gonna give me a heart attack!"

He had trouble processing the information, it was so confusing and mixed up in his head. He couldn't even focus because of how much his back hurt.

"Okay, okay! Leave me alone!"

America stood up and walked away from the crowd of countries before heading towards the exit. It wasn't long before he was dragged back to his room by Russia and Myanmar.

"Leave me alone!!!"

"Quiet down, shortass."

"I'M TALLER THAN Y-"

Myanmar brought out a flashlight and popsicle stick

"What are you- I'M NOT SICK!!"

Russia put a hand on his shoulder, he was being surprisingly gentle yet firm. His gaze was enough to shut America up.

"Listen Amerika, don't think I haven't heard of your little coma fits. It's always on the news. It's bad to the point even WHO has no idea what the fuck is going on with you. Can you just shut up and listen for once? We need to know if you're going to pass out again or what."

"You- ugh, you guys don't understand! This isn't related to my comas! It's something else about- forget it..."

Myanmar and Russia looked at each other and shrugged. As soon as they turned back, America was...

Running away!

"AMERICAAA!!! GET BACK HERE NOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!"

-TBC (no, not TSC/The Second Coming.)

I'm running low on motivation so it might take another three or four years for me to completely finish this. My goal is at least 50 chapters.
