*EL'S POV*

Nash has been back for about 2 weeks now and I'm happier than ever. Just looking over at him sitting on the couch makes me smile. The phone rings and I look over, frowning at the name on the screen. Mom.

I roll onto the floor, off the couch and answer the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey honey. I was wondering if we could talk about earlier."

"You mean how you aren't even thinking about what I might want with my future?"

"Yes. And I'm sorry. I just wasn't ready to accept that you're living in California at age 16. And that you are going to do 90% of your junior year online."

"It's fine. Trust me, I would love to be back at school but after everything that's happened I would much rather stay here with Nash as long as possible. And again, trust me I want to be as far away from Jasper and his gang as possible."

"Just please tell me before you move across the country."

We finish talking and I hang up, letting out a breath and closing my eyes.

"Who was that?"

"My mom."

I open my eyes to Nash standing above me, his weight rested on a crutch. He's been going to therapy every other day, and it's working miracles.

"Is everything ok?"

"Yeah, she's just being worried. But that's her job right?"

He lays down next to me, staring up at the clouds through a small sun roof.

"Let's go somewhere."

I turn to look at him, meeting his eyes which are cautiously reviewing mine.

"Where?"

"Makeout point."

I roll my eyes, turning on to my opposite side. He rolls over and puts his arm over me, pressing me onto the floor.

"I'm serious. Lets just go lay in the back of my truck and watch a movie at the drive in theatre."

"So a drive in, not makeout point."

"Yes. But we can still makeout if you want." He says, kissing my nose and standing back up, walking into the bedroom.

I sigh, opening my laptop and starting some math problems. Everything else is no problem, I have all my English, Spanish and Anatomy work done for the next week. But math I'm a whole week behind. Its not that I can't do it, it's more I don't want to do it.

I do about 30 problems and give up, laying on the couch and closing my eyes.

I wake up 3 hours later to the sound of nothing. Silence.

Freaked out, I reach for my phone and call Nash.

"Hey Babe."

"Where are you?"

"The store. I'll be back soon."

"Okay."

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just was worried."

"Don't be. I'll be home in 10 minutes. I love you."

"I love you too."

I hang up and turn on the lights, going into the kitchen and getting out stuff for sandwiches. If we're going to a movie we can just have a picnic in the back of his truck.
