*EL' POV*
Summer is slowly but surely coming to an end. There's about 3 weeks until I have to go back home. The other girls are leaving a lot sooner, as soon as in 3 days. That leaves me, Nash, Shawn and the Jacks. That's it. Everyone else is busy or leaving with new oppurtunities.
That also leaves less people for Jasper to worry about. With no word from him for almost a month, im worried out of my mind. Nash keeps telling me its ok and nothing will happen, but I know he's just trying to make me feel better. He's always on edge, everytime a fork drops and makes a clattering sound, he spins on his hell ready to fight. Which is the complete opposite of what I need.
What I need is for him not to get hurt. To stay as uninvolved as possible. Completely impossible, but i'm still trying. We are going on a simple date, dinner and a movie. Hopefully Jasper doesn't make his not-so-glorious return tonight. I would like to try to have fun.
I check the clock, 3 pm. I jump into the shower, quickly washing and drying my body. I start blowdyring my hair, as well as singing along to some One Direction song. Once my hair is nice and poofy, I turn on a straightener and look for an outfit to wear. I decide on a simple dress and a knitted cardigan to go along. I pull on the dress, leaving the little jacket off for now.
I spend quite some time on my hair, straightening it and then crimping it so its slightly wavy. I brush it out and use some spray to give it volume. When im satisfied, I slip on a pair of silver flats and spray some perfume. Just as I finish, Nash walks into the room in nothing but a towel. I smile at him and fix a couple strands of my hair into little twists on either side of my head.
"You look beautiful, but I mean what else is new." He says, smiling and kissing my ear before removing his towel and putting on his clothes, which consist of black skinny jeans and a white shirt that says "BLVD." I observe him doing his hair for a moment, trying to remember every little movement he makes. I frown when I blink and its all gone.
"Nash, do you remember that fan we ran into in Walmart a couple days ago?" I question. He turns around, jumping on the bed next to me.
"Yeah, why?"
"Well I was just thinking about how little time we all have. How much time we dedicate to things that won't matter in 100 years."
"It will matter though," he says after thinking for a minute,"it will matter to future generations."
"Thats if you do something worth while. Meddling in some dance and some physics isn't going to do anything. Now if you have dreams, and go to school and put in hardwork, you can be someone. Put all that hardwork to make your expierence here worthwhile."
He nods slowly.
"And just tell me how that relates to the fan?"
"Right," I say, remembering the initial reason I started talking,"she said that she prayed to God that she would meet us, but then corrected herself saying that God doesn't exist. But I mean, she could be right but that's not the point. She said she needed facts, but no one could give her those facts. That's why she couldn't believe."
"A lot of people think like that El."
"But if you rely solely on facts, you will never dream. It's not possible, add up the facts and there's no way you are going to become a world famous actor or singer. How much you wanna bet Niall Horan knew he was going to be the biggest thing on the planet? Nothing, because he didn't. He had a dream, not facts." I finish off my rambling, and focus back on Nash. He looks very takenaback, almost like someone slapped him with a fish.
"What?" I say shyly.
"When did you get so deep? And what are you even talking about this for are you ok? I swear if Jasper is hurting you again I will-" I cut him off by putting my hand over his mouth.
