The day was too nice to spend inside Kelly's waiting for Joss, so Trina opted to read The Story of Art outside. It was quiet out, with it being the late afternoon, allowing her to get lost in the read. Though after some time had passed, she felt someone watching her. Trina didn't even have to look to know that it was Spencer, something just told her it was. But her smile was genuine when she finally glanced his way.

Since meeting him two years ago, Trina felt a closeness to him that she couldn't quite explain. Even after learning about Spencer's girlfriend Esme, and all the awful things Esme did - including almost sending her to jail for something she herself did, Trina couldn't get rid of the feelings she had for him. Maybe that was why she came up with the idea to pretend to turn to him after Rory's death to get Esme to come out of hiding.

Now here she was, with him and no audience to see their 'relationship' on full display. And Trina didn't care, she was simply happy to be in his company. Until she heard him mention his uncle Cryus. She knew that Spencer would spend some time with his treacherous uncle while he was locked up, but to hear it from his lips was hard.

Glancing down at the small white box, Trina felt Spencer's stare as she spoke again. "Oh, that uncle."

Noticing the clouds of worry in Spencer's eyes, Trina decided to put her disdain for Cyrus to the wasteside when she asked, "How was that? Spending time with...him? While in Pentonville?"

As Spencer turned his head away, Trina reached out and took both of his hands into hers. He looked back at her when she gently squeezed their joined hands. "If you don't want to talk -"

"No, it's okay. I want to. At least with you."

They sat quietly, holding each other's gaze. "I hadn't planned on spending so much time with him, and given what my uncle Victor told me what uncle Cyrus did to you and your mom -"

Trina blurted out, "Your uncle told you about that? How did Victor even find out?"

She watched as Spencer's signature lazy grin showed up on his face, and felt a small smile form on her own.

"Cassadine men, especially my uncles, use many methods to get information."

Trina's eyes were taking in his words, but her heart refused to be still as he held her stare. Girl, hold it together!

It was her idea to pretend to be a couple, and not even a week into their plan - Trina was already finding it harder and harder to keep her feelings in check. That was until an image of Rory's face flashed across her mind.

Straightening her shoulders, "I'll keep that in mind."

Spencer chuckled low, and Trina closed her eyes. It's all pretend - don't forget that. Or why you're doing this in the first place...

More memories of Rory came rushing to Trina's thoughts, from their first date to his last words to her at the hospital, causing Trina to snatch her hand away from Spencer's.

"Is everything alright?"

The softness of his voice willed her to look at him once more. Finding his concerned eyes on her, Trina felt a wave of guilt begin to roll through her body.

"It's nothing, just..."

Needing somewhere else to look, Trina reached out and touched one of the doves. "They're beautiful. Thank you."

As she picked up the dove, Spencer spoke. "I wish I could take the credit for making these, but I believe that goes to my uncle."

"Cyrus made these?" Trina asked, jerking her head back up.
