You and Me

In between feverish kisses, Trina almost didn't hear Spencer when he managed to ask, "Are you sure?"

She nodded. "I am Spencer. I'm so sure."

Trina felt the absence of his warm hands and bit the inside of her cheeks as he took a step back. "Trina...I know how important this is to you. And I want it to be perfect."

"And it will be." she insisted, as she went to close the space between them. "You know why?"

Spencer eyed her closely but otherwise didn't move. "Why?"

"Because it'll be with you."

He tilted his head to the side before sighing. She wasn't sure exactly why he didn't believe her, but now that Trina knew what she wanted, a new found confidence was in each of her next steps toward Spencer. She slowly brought a hand out to him and trailed it along his right shoulder. Spencer's jaw ticked as Trina continued the action on his left side.

"But here? This is the last place I would choose to..." Spencer sighed again before explaining. "I want to make it epic for you, Trina. You deserve that much."

Her eyes followed his and when Trina looked back at Spencer to see his lips in a straight line, she tried again. "Where we are doesn't matter. As long as it's me and you, it'll be epic."

A part of Trina almost couldn't believe that she even had to do so much convincing to get Spencer to be with her. Until she thought about all the little moments that the two shared over the last few months. From seeing him again at the PC Grill, when he explained why Rory would take her there, to him telling her that he would be her 'steadfast' friend at Kelly's. She didn't mean to, but a small giggle escaped her lips as his reluctance became clearer.

Spencer raised an eyebrow at her and Trina took a moment to catch her breath before explaining, "Seeing you like this, it's really noble of you." Trina teased, while bringing a hand to his chest. "Part of me understands and appreciates the gesture, but another other part of me..."

A low chuckle vibrated from Spencer's chest to Trina's hand.

She gently swiped her red fingernails across Spencer's chin. "But Spencer...with everything going on in our lives right now, I feel like we might not get this chance again."

When he started to speak, she placed her index finger directly over his soft lips.

"A chance to be alone like this..."

Her other hand went to the middle of his back and she watched Spencer close his eyes before lowering his head.

"A chance to explore everything we feel for one another...as one."

Trina stared at Spencer and waited for him to do the same. Seconds felt like hours, but when he finally did, Trina was rewarded to a gaze from him so intense that she was now at a lost for words. Which may have been a good thing, because as she tried to part her lips to say more, Spencer's came down hard on to hers.

His hands tightly wrapped around her smaller frame, and the deeper their kiss went, the more Trina had to tilt her head back. She was desperate for air but didn't want to break away. Her nails lightly scraped along Spencer's back, until she let out a soft moan. Before she had time to think, Spencer bent his knees and her feet left the ground. Instinctively, Trina's legs wrapped around his waist, her hands finding a new home in his wavy tresses.

"Spencer..." Trina whined in between their heated kisses.

He pressed his hands firmly to Trina's back and the groan that followed wrecked her. It was as if he had activated a part of her being that was in hiding, waiting for the one she wanted to find it before making itself known.  With her eyes fluttering, Trina barely registered that they were moving. Not until Spencer's hot kisses began to travel from her lips down to her chin and neck. When she did, Trina heard a creaking sound and then a loud thud as Spencer closed the room door. Realizing that he no longer needed convincing, her heart began to beat frantically inside her chest.
