A Paw Patrol Story 10: Let's Ride

Chapter 5

As the Paw Patrol continued to drive, Matthew carefully sat down, placing Champ on his lap.

Matthew:How bad is the pain?

Champ: It hurts pretty bad.

Grace: What's important is that you're safe now, Champ.

Matthew immediately stood up as he felt a dark energy coming towards them.

Chase: Matt?

Matthew:You two sense that?

Champ:Yeah, what could it be?

Grace:This energy, it feels very dark.

Suddenly, something quickly passed by.

Wild:What was that?!

Suddenly, something ran right through the pups, Wild, and Ryder, making them fall off their motorcycles.

Rocky:(Groans) What's going on?

Matthew:Champ, are you alright?

Champ: This time I am.

Matthew: Whoever this is, they're fast.

???: I'm sick and tired of all of this.

The team turned around, seeing that Hubcap was behind them, and was completely covered in a very powerful dark aura. 

Champ: Hubcap?

Hubcap began to growl loudly as the ground began to shake.

Grace: What's happened to him?

Matthew:I don't know.

Suddenly, a swarm of Heartless appeared.

Champ: Heartless!

Matthew quickly summoned his keyblade.

Grace:Wild, we need you to stay with Champ!

Champ:I wanna help!

Matthew:You are in no condition to fight, if Moby was here, maybe, but since he's not, I can't have you get yourself hurt again!

Grace then carefully picked up Champ, placing him on Wild's back. Grace looked at the sad expression on Champ's face.

Grace:Hey, look at me?

Champ looked up at Grace.

Grace: Everything is gonna be alright, I'll protect him.

Champ:(Sighs) Okay...

Grace smiled and gently licked Champ's face. Champ couldn't help but smile as he nuzzled the Rockruff.

Wild:Aww...

The two quickly looked away and blushed.

Wild:I saw that.

Grace: Whatever.

Grace then quickly returned to Matthew's side.

Chase:Why are you doing this, Hubcap?

Hubcap: Because I want to!

Matthew then noticed that a few of the Heartless were coming towards Wild.

Wild:You gotta be kidding me?!

Matthew:Wild!

Matthew then threw his keyblade, destroying the few Heartless with it.

Grace:You two okay?

Wild:Yeah, we're fine.

As Matthew and Grace were dealing with the Heartless, the pups, Wild, and Ryder noticed that Dwayne and Gasket had arrived.
