welcome to the club.
to those who said they never want to fall in love
because it still burns at the back of their mind
all the loves that they thought could last,
yet in the end is just another sinister crime
either traumatized by the peole they once trust
or was manipulated even the strings aren't really attached
i don't want to fall in love, because love resonates with pain
and i've had enough of it with my self-isolation and rusted chains
the good things that links with love was all a facade to me
gentleness, home, butterflies, and comfort zones. all gone.
and even the simplest act of kindness got me into thinking,
"what's the hidden agenda that this person's trying to undone?".
to those who's afraid that they might not be good enough
someday the right person will knock at your lock-tight door
but you said you never want to fall in love anymore
you have nothing left to give and not so worthy to receive
the right person will try to melt down your guard
but still your heart's too fragile to once again start
to those who said they never want to fall in love
welcome to the club.
