Emily's POV

It started out as a regular summer morning. My mom was at work, my dad was at a doctor's appointment, and my younger sister was at a friend's house. I was doing my usual Monday morning ritual. I sat in the living room with my cd player blasting One Diretion, my favorite band, and reading my newest book. Then, I heard three thing simultaniously: a lot of teenage girls screaming, a knock on the back door, and my cell phone ringing. I ran to the door and two thoughts popped into my mind. There was a mob of screaming fangirls headed towards my house, and One Direction was at my door.

I opened the door and ushered them inside. "Come in here before they attack you."

I heard a muffled "Thanks." as they hurried past me.

"Go downstairs." I said, pointing to the stairs. "There are no windows for them to see you through." They ran down as the fangirls hustled past my house and to the next street. I answered the phone. "Yes?" I asked.

"EMILY!" I heard from the line. "DID YOU HEAR? ONE DIRECTION JUST RAN PAST YOUR HOUSE!" My neighbor, Maddy, was also a huge directioner.

"Really?" I said sarcastically. "I didn't notice from all of the shrieking teenage girls racing past. Um, I'll call you back. I think my food is done." I hung up and started downstairs when the full reality of the situation hit me. One Direction was in my basement.

Liam's POV

We were being chased by a horde of crazy fans when I spotted a house playing our music. I pointed it out to the lads and we headed for it. When we got there, I banged on the door. A girl opened it and we darted past her and into the basement. We sat on the two couches and waited to meet our rescuer.

When she came down, we finally got a good look at her. She looked about 17, brown hair, green eyes, and she was apparently in her pajamas. She sat on the floor across from us, looked me in the eye, and said "What brings you to my fair town?" Louis, Harry, and Niall started laughing at that one. She glanced at them, then her eyes again settled on me. "Well?" she continued. "It's not often that international celebrities come barreling down my street. What's your story? First off, why did you come to my house?"

The boys looked at me, now finished with their laughter. "Um, well, uh, you see, I heard you had our songs playing so I figured you knew who we were and wouldn't call the police thinking that there were five creepers at your door, and uh..." She started giggling. "What's so funny?" I asked.

"You are." she replied. "I've been a fan for about a year now, and I never once thought that I would ever meet you. Let me introduce myself. I'm Emily."

Harry was up first. "A lovely name for a lovely girl." he said, kissing her hand. He can be such a flirt.

She smiled at him with a mischievious glint in her eye. "Harry, if you try anything out of line, I am a black belt in judo and am not afraid to use it." He turned a little pale and sat down.

Niall was next. He shook her hand asking "Do you have any food here?" she laughed and pointed to a door on the other side of the room. "There's a fridge in there." she explained as Niall galloped over to it. "It's usually pretty well stocked, but if you eat everything there today, I'll use my epic ninja skills on you too" he slowed down and looked back at her, scared.

Louis shot up to wrap her in a big bear hug. "Are there by chance any carrots in there?" he asked while squeezing the life out of her.

I was about to jump in and help when all of a sudden Louis was on the ground and Emily was standing over him. "You dared to doubt my skills?" she asked, looking quite frightening.
