Falling

Chapter 2

"wake up man, wake up!" Evan yells opening the curtains, making me jump out of bed.

"You freaked me out" I say rubbing my eyes.

"You have fifteen minutes to be in my car" he points at me and gets out of my room.

I almost forgot what happened yesterday at first when I woke up but damn, I remember now.

why didn't I wake up with amnesia?

I get ready and go downstairs. everyone eating their breakfast while their eyes fell on me, worried probably.

"dare to explain what's happening?" my father asks putting his fork and knife down.

"nothing would put you in shame" I say blankly staring directly into his eyes.

"I only raised you all on urbanity and good manners, I don't know how come you are like this Ryan" his voice serious.

"sorry for disappointing you" I say and smile at my mom and my two beautiful sisters.

my dad raises his eyebrows and that's when I know I have to leave before he starts lecturing me.

I find Evan waiting in his car.

"perfect day, the weather is amazing" he says looking at the sky.

optimistic much?

"yeah"

"So, what's wrong Ryan?" he starts once we are in the car.

"I'm hurting Evan" I let out a slight laugh at how far things have come. "she is going out with a guy" I start biting me bottom lip. "and she wants me to meet him"

Evan parks on the side of the road and stare at the steering.

"his name is Aaron hall, I don't know if you know him" I bite my lip harder that it may have been bleeding.

"I don't" he let out a breath.

"it's all my fault, I didn't tell her" I say clenching my jaw.

"listen, it's not your fault, things were meant to go that way"

"but what am I supposed to do now!" I punch my fist on the dashboard.

"meet him"

"You are the only one who knows how I would react if I saw him Evan, for god's sake!"

"I know, and I'm telling you that you should meet him, I don't know what's the aim but if you want I will come with you"

"I'll try" I breathe my eyes shut.

"just don't do anything stupid" he warned. "we should get a drink and talk"

after almost four hours of talking with Evan and hanging out with him, he drops me at home to get ready to see that bitch Aaron.

"still don't want to tell me?" is the first thing my mom says when she sees me.

I stay silent.

"Okay, but whatever it is please think carefully and don't do anything stupid"

I did the most stupid thing when I didn't tell Sophie that I loved her.

"don't worry yourself, your son will be fine" I give her a smile and kiss her forehead.

when I go to my room, I start over thinking about the whole thing but I still manage to get dressed nicely and get to Sophie's house on time.
