Topic: " Love Interests "

Hey everyone!

So I know in the original book I said I'd pretty much do a reverse haram situation, but after much thought I want to scrap that idea and instead give you all the chance to decide who in the end is gonna be the final love interest. Based on the direction of the plot and Hatsumi's personality, I've narrowed down a list that I can see working as potential love interests—more so than the others I have not included.

The choice is up to you, I mostly chose these few characters because of their personalities. They come across as more mature than the others and they fit a bit better with Hatsumi.

And in regards to the first choice—Karlheinz, that idea just came to me recently because of how I worked out the Ito family history and their bloodline.

Ya'll should already know that he's attracted to the idea of creating a new race and he requires first blood to do that. And to his knowledge he believes that Cordelia was the last woman to have first blood, but as you now know, she wasn't the only one left.

Anyways, the whole general purpose of creating this new race is to ensure that he can somehow create the perfect race with the ability to feel complex emotions like love and to be able to not get sick and die from any known and unknown diseases like the ancestral race had in the past.

With this in mind, I wanted to show how faulty his thinking is and prove that just because he believes he can't love doesn't mean he can't. He hasn't met our dear Hatsumi yet.

But anywho, that was my thought direction in regards to Karlheinz. It will obviously go much deeper than this (if he is chosen), but this is just the general idea I had.

Also, remember that the Diabolik Lovers series is meant to be "dark romance" so there will be manipulation and violence, but because negativity is not good for my skin, it will all end up leading to a healthy, happy, light-hearted romance in the end.

Additionally, since I am so nice, I will continue to write the story with some fluff between all the characters, but obviously focus majority of the love development towards the prospective love interests and then end with a single love interest.
