Sorry for the late update, college is the textbook definition of highway robbery and I'm trying to cope, I decided last minute to change my major and therefore my classes. This was a big blow for me because I had really struggled in coming to terms with my decision to switch. I spent a lot of time and effort into thinking I was gonna do one thing, so I had to learn to accept that it just wasn't something I was meant to do, ya know?

Anyways, please comment, especially when I'm asking ya'll questions pertaining to the story, thank you!

This should be longer, because of its lateness.

My conversation with Shu was unplanned, but it worked out in my favor. Sometimes lady fate makes my life easy, other times I have to work hard to make an impact on the timeline.

In other words, yesterday, was a good day.

Today, however, was a new day and another day in hell. I'm almost positive that actual hell is better than school, but it's a little too soon to make that comparison, I haven't had the pleasure of visiting Beelzebub's paradise yet.

It's in the books, obviously, but I haven't found the time.

Anywho, yes, I was back at school. But this time I had successfully whittled my schedule down to just three classes: Musical Theory, Ancient Greek History, and Home Economics. They were relatively simple classes and the most enjoyable classes I think this school had.

I shared musical theory with Shu, Laito and the half-blood fellow that went by Kou Mukami. Then in my history class I had Reiji and Kou's other siblings Ruki and Yuma. And then for my home economics, I shared it with Ayato, Kanato, and the last Mukami, Azusa. I didn't share anything with the youngest Sakamaki—Subaru, because he chose to take plant biological systems instead of home economics, which made sense given that flowers were his thing.

Musical theory is where I found myself for the start of the school night. We not only discussed the history of music and it's evolution, but we also performed famous pieces throughout history. As you can image, in order to even be in the class you first needed to be able to use an instrument and read sheet music, otherwise you'd just be wasting your time and the teachers.

I, of course, could play a variety of instruments be it wind, string or percussion, but I much preferred to play string instruments. Laito and Shu played piano, while Kou sang, played the piano, and used the guitar.

If there was one positive thing I could say about the boys, it would be that they were decent musicians, but less than stellar people. But we can blame the parents or at least the lack there of, because well, you know...

Anyways, we were at the point in class wherein our teacher allowed us to break apart into groups to go over one of Beethoven's pieces. In essence, she wanted us to translate the emotions that Beethoven was trying to express behind each musical scale into words.
