"Get out. Get the fuck out" said Michael
"Michael don't do this they're just kids" said Victoria
"They're disrespectful fucks Victoria get them out" said Sasha
Michael went for his shotgun and Kyle charged at him but was tackled by Sasha
Bryce kicked Sasha in the face and immediately ran and grabbed onto the shotgun that Michael had
Kyle got on top of Sasha and started choking him
As they were all fighting, a mortar shell landed on the house and the roof to the basement caved in
Bryce was dazed by the explosion and lost hearing in his left ear but didn't go unconscious
He couldn't tell where he was until he ended up on the ground with Hannah checking if he was alive
"Bryce is that you?" asked Hannah
"Hannah hey it's me I can barely hear you" said Bryce
"Bryce are you okay?" asked Hannah
"Hannah what?" asked Bryce
She got closer to him and grabbed him
"ARE YOU OKAY?" asked Hannah slower
"I'm fine I'm fine. We need to find Kyle and go" said Bryce
The two of them got up and started looking for Kyle as the house continued to fall apart
They couldn't find Kyle but came across Sasha and Michael in the midst of the dust
Michael didn't think to ask who it was before he grabbed his shotgun
"RUN!" yelled Bryce
Bryce grabbed Hannah and they found the stairs and began running up them as they crumbled underneath them
The two of them made it to the top along with Michael
Sasha attempted to make to the top but the stairs fell under him
Michael went back for him and that's when Hannah and Bryce took their chances to run
They found a shed behind the neighbors house and opened it
"Hannah wait in here I'll be back" said Bryce
"Bryce let's just go" said Hannah
"They'll see us and kill us Hannah I need to kill them first" said Bryce
Bryce handed Hannah his gun
"If anyone opens this door kill them" said Bryce
He closes the door on Hannah and ran back towards the house where Michael and Sasha were
"HEY FUCKERS! COME GET ME!" yelled Bryce
Sasha just got out of the basement
He had the shotgun while Michael was unarmed and charging at Bryce
Bryce took off and led Michael in to attack him
He kept running through backyards making sure Michael was still on him
He got to a house and hid behind a corner until Michael came running past him
Bryce grabbed Michael and slammed him to the ground
He kept punching him until he started bleeding from his nose and mouth then got up and started stomping on his face until he was dead
He stood over his body looking down at him
Down the road came a motorized patrol of Russian soldiers
Knowing if he ran he would be shot he took a chance and put his hands up and got down on his knees
The patrol inched forward with their guns up at him
"DON'T SHOOT I'M A LOYAL CITIZEN TO THE URFT AND RUSSIAN FEDERATION!" yelled Bryce
Soldiers approached and detained him then searched for weapons and explosives
"If you're a loyal citizen why don't you speak Russian?" asked a soldier
"Disloyal parents. He was my father he was harboring rebel fighters in the basement just a few houses down" said Bryce

"YA eto znayu, no nam nuzhny loyal'nyye Rossii lyudi. On sovershil prestupleniye, poetomu my mozhem otpravit' yego v shtrafnoy batal'on. Eto spaset nas pozzhe (I know this, but we need people loyal to Russia. He committed a crime, so we can send him to the penal battalion. It will save us later)" said the soldier
"Da, (Yes) back of the truck move him now" said the other Russian soldier
Two other Russians picked Bryce up off the ground and dragged him to the back of a truck and threw him in
Inside were two other injured men who looked like they wouldn't make it
The truck began to move and the Russians continued their patrol

The back of the truck opened
Bryce opened his eyes as sunlight beamed in
One of the men who the Russians picked up the night prior died and all that remained was Bryce and another man
Three Russian soldiers got up in the back of the truck and started grabbing them and throwing them off the truck
Still restrained, Bryce attempted to get up but a soldier came over and stepped on his back
A voice in Russian over a loud speaker came on and Russian soldiers started picking everyone who they've captured and taken here and started dragging them over through a gate and into a courtyard
When they got there, all of them were stood up and made to stand in a formation
All who couldn't stand up were shot and left there
A whole crowd of people stood there
Bryce looked around and couldn't even think to how much there actually was
In front of them walked out a man in a Russian military uniform and megaphone in hand
Everyone was quiet
Bryce had no clue what was going on
"Good morning. All of you are criminals to the Russian Federation. From however small or how big the crime you committed is, as of new URFT law all crime will be seen as appropriate by the government to force you into penal battalions. You have committed a crime against your country and must pay for it. Do your service and you will be free again to keep our nation prosperous"
For the next few hours Bryce spent his time getting beat and tortured by Russian soldiers
All he could think about is hoping Hannah is safe and wherever Kyle is that she found him
