"So, I guess we're back here." Said a familiar voice. "Watch what I do to you this time."

I slowly opened my eyes. It was the demon. "I already told you I know how to get rid of you," I shouted. "You can just leave me alone, or are you scared of me?"

"Shut up. I don't care that you know how to get rid of me." It said. "I just know that when I'm done with you here, there is no need for you to go that far. I mean you're gonna be dead anyways."

"I can free your spirit, just let me help you," I reply.

"I know you can, you have all the evidence." It said. "Do you think it's easy for me to just forget about how my father murdered my mom and I? It's not easy, and I know your dad is after you too, trying to do the same thing to you. He may have disappeared a couple of days ago, but just you wait. He'll be here, standing right in front of you. It's not easy when you think about it like that, huh? The day your dad takes full custody of you is the day I have gotten my revenge."

"How is that your revenge?" I say.

"Your dad is my dad's son!" It shouted at me.

My mind started spinning. How could my dad be his dad's son? I sat there, as my entire world turned upside-down. The demon looked at me with a grin. It sent chills down my spine. Then, it spoke, "Wait and see the murderer himself in action."

"What do you mean by that?" I asked, with a concerned look on my face.

"You know that murder four years before you were born, the one you and Avion found out about." It said. "That was your dad. He murdered an entire family, stole their money, and took his wife across the world. And now, now he's coming back. He's coming to torture you and your sister."

It laughed, "How do you know all of this?" I shout.

"Well, if I told you, my secret wouldn't be a secret anymore." It said, with a smile across its face. "You better watch out 'cause if you don't...Well, then, it's game over!"

The dream ended. I woke up covered in a thick layer of sweat. My head started hurting. I couldn't take in all of this information. I had to tell someone. I have to get rid of the demon. "Are you alright?" Asked Avion. "You were sleep talking."

"My head hurts," I say. "But that doesn't matter, we have to get rid of that demon."

"Now?" Avion said. "It's getting late, how about tomorrow morning?"

"I probably won't have till tomorrow morning," I say, tearing up. "We have to get to my place with police officers. Otherwise, tomorrow morning won't be a thing for me."

Avion nodded, but I knew he was as scared as I was. We had to get rid of the demon and fast. I already knew what to do. We have to open the attic. We had to show the police the evidence. We have to free its spirit.

Avion walked in with a bunch of police officers. They all had determined looks on their faces. We had to finish this once and for all. "Is everyone ready?" I ask.

"We're ready," replied Avion.

I look at Avion and he looked at me. We both knew it was now or never. This was our last chance. "Alright, we're gonna need all the help we can get," I say, with more confidence than ever before. "Avion, I need you and a couple of officers to run to your place. All of the evidence is on the laptop. The rest of you, follow me. Watch your back 'cause the demon can come out of nowhere. If I fall, run to the attic. The demon's remains are there, we have to bury them in order to release its spirit."

"What about your sister?" asked Avion's mom. "Don't we have to find her?"

"No," I say. "If we can solve this case, the kidnappers will let her go. They're after all the evidence, so they can get the million-dollar prize for solving the case."

"Got it," She replied.

Everyone was ready. The plan was a go. We went our paths. Avion went to his place for the evidence and I, well, I had a demon to fight.

We arrived outside my house. It looked scarier than before. I opened the front door and we all entered. Suddenly, I had a very bad feeling. My head hurt, my stomach twisted. I fell on my knees. I didn't know what to do. One of the officers helped me up and I lead them to the attic. It was blocked off by a big wooden board. Once it broke open, they put up a ladder. We all entered the attic and to our horror, the demon was right on top of the cupboard. "Well, well, well." It said with a smirk. "You didn't think it would be this easy to destroy me."

"Am I dreaming or is there something sitting there?" Asked one of the officers.

"No, it's really there," said Avion's mom, pointing her gun at it. "Don't move or I'll shoot you."

"Oh no, what would I ever do?" It said dramatically. "Did no one ever tell you, you can't shoot a demon?"

Right then, Avion ran up the ladder and threw something at the demon. I ran to the cupboard and opened it. Out flew the bodies. The police officers grabbed the bodies and we all climbed down the ladder. The demon then flew at me. I was pinned to the ground. Avion tried to save me, but the demon used some dark force to throw him. "Avion, leave," I shout, my voice shaking.

"I can't leave you here," he said, I could tell he was tearing up.

"I'll be just fine," I assured him. "Just go."

He wiped away the tears and nodded. As he left, the attic door shut closed. "It's just you and me now. I'm not letting you out till your dead." It shouted.

"I'm not scared of you," I said, with the last bit of confidence I had left.

As I said that, I saw the fear of defeat in the demon's eyes. "I said, 'I'm not scared of you,' and I'll never be scared of you," I shouted at its face.

The demon's grip loosened and I kicked till I got out. I ran to the attic door and tried to open it. It was like it was locked. The demon started laughing, "You can't get out that easily," it said.

"I'm not scared of you!" I shouted as I stood up. "I'm not scared of you!"

It lunged at me. I picked up a metal rod on the floor and right as it was about to attack me, I stabbed it with it. I took it out of the flesh of the demon and stabbed it again. I repeatedly stabbed it until it looked like it was dead. "I'm not scared of you," I said one last time.

I took the metal rod and broke open the door. I made sure to lock it before I left. When I walked out of the house, I saw all the police officers that helped me. They were looking through the laptop. I saw Avion standing beside his mom. I ran up and hugged him. "You're safe," he said, hugging me back.

"I said I would be just fine," I replied.

"Looks like these two teenagers have solved the case." Said one of the officers. "But, your sister is still missing."

My life flashed before my eyes, as something struck me in the back of my head. I fell to the ground. My vision blurred, but I knew Avion was beside me. I clenched my head in pain. My vision blurred even more and then I passed out.
