It had all started with the simple match in the dark of night.
The flickering flame was a beautiful contrast against the black.
A small beacon of hope it seemed to give off.
But it was sadly mistaken.
There was no stopping the eruption of the flames at it took over the house. It began to crumble under the pressure, smoke rising. Three people stood outside of the building: the flame, the gasoline, and the trapped.
But, there was one inside. They erupted from the bed in a violent fit of coughs, hacking and gagging for the lost air. Their weary eyes scanned the surroundings, took everything in, and they feared.
A piercing scream rang through the night.
They were the spark, the little thing of light that hoped for the best always.
The three outside wanted them crushed.
The spark fled the house, to the outside world, smiling and laughing as they were free.
But, there was a price to pay.
A glimmer.
A scream.
And darkness yet again.
Author-Sama says: It is now 6:17 and this is literally 170 words. I apologize. But there's really not much to say.
Who's this about, I wonder?
