Golden Eyes - Part 2

Missing you

Readers POV

Today I had to say goodbye to Loreen, she was only leaving for one day to get her show done but I already knew it would feel like a year for me. I hated it when she had to leave but she had her job and of course her fans waiting for her which I understood.

When she was gone and I was alone with the kids and the others, time passed faster than I thought. I was so busy with the little ones but I thankfully got the help I needed by the others. If I had to be alone I didn't know what to do. Especially today.

„Andrei! Samira! Please be careful and don't run so much." I shout as I was sitting outside in the garden on a chair, watching them while the others were with me. We talked about a lot of different things, especially the weird thing that happened with La Zarra's necklace. We were worried about our safety and now knowing Loreen isn't here made me even more worried. I just hope she will do fine.

Our serious conversation got interrupted by Kaarija pointing at the kids, a excited smile on his face! „Hey guys look! Our little pups learned to transform!" He yelled and we all stood up, seeing two little wolf puppies running around and playing in the garden, making us all chuckle. I even had to cry out of happiness when I saw that. Loreen must be proud if she knew about it...

„Aww! Look how sweet, I knew my little ones are gonna do it, come here!" I got so happy I kneeled down on the grass with my arms open, letting them run into my arms and caress their fur, they really are so sweet in this form.

„Now say cheese!" Alessandra took a pic from us meanwhile I was mid laughing, I bet it turned out very cute.

Then they turned back into human kids again and both were laughing at me. „Wow! Did you see that mom? We are just like Uncle Kaarija!" They say and we all just had to chuckle about the sweet situation, now we just had to make sure to keep them home so they won't accidentally switch forms in public until they will learn how to use her powers.
Oh I wished Loreen was here now and could see it.

„Don't worry (Y/N) we will take care if them and show them more about their abilities...I mean of course for as much as they can understand by now." Kaarija mentioned. I am so happy I had them with me and helping me out. As a human I can't help a lot with the werewolf thing but gladly I had Alessandra, Kaarija and Bojan with me.

„Thank you guys." I say and let them teach my kids a little bit more, making me smile so happily.

A few minutes later when I notice things are working good with the others, I decide to get up, wanting to take the part of making us all food.
When I was on my way to the kitchen, I saw La Zarra sitting on the couch, being deep in thoughts which made me frown and feel a little worried, so I silently moved closer and carefully sat down beside her. „Hey...is it okay if I join you?" I say and she just nodded at me, I then just noticed that she was staring at the necklace before she turned to me, her eyes looked so sad, making me feel sad as well.

„(Y/N)...I don't know what that means. Every since I got this, I am wondering what will happen to us...I don't want to feel any kind of pain anymore. I don't want us to feel any pain. I learned to love all of you so much...I even love your kids like being the real auntie of them. I couldn't take it if something bad will happen." She said and I placed my hand on her thigh, squeezing it lightly, wanting to show her it's okay.
„Hey...don't worry. I can't deny the fact that we might be in danger but I also can't say we won't make it. I have faith in our family and so should you. We may not be family by blood but by heart. We grew so strong together, we can make it." I say and she smiled a little at me before giving me a hug, making me chuckle in response as I hug her back.

„Thank you (Y/N)..." She just said and I smiled before letting go of her slowly. We have werewolves, vampires and even a wolf that's also a healer! So I won't give up on thinking about the positive. I know we can do it no matter what will come at us.
„Now come on, will you help me make food for all of us?" I say and she nodded at me, smiling brightly now. „Sure."

Later at night when I put the kids into bed I was alone in my bedroom, finally having some time for myself and try to rest. The place beside me on the bed was cold and empty, making me miss my wife so much, I know I am not alone but right now I felt alone.
I took my phone and saw Alessandra had sent me the picture she took before with the kids who turned into wolves, making me smile happily as I searched for Loreen in my contacts and send her the pic. I don't know if she had time to see it but I decided not to worry too much and scroll through social media, trying to cool off my brain after that day.

As always Loreen's concert was a success again. Everyone just loved her, loved her voice, her songs, the whole performance. People always loved and supported her and they will always do. She loved her fans but of course her family was on her mind no matter where she was and what she was doing. A noisy interviewer asked her about the ring on her finger today but she decided to keep it a secret, just telling she is happy with her private life and didn't give any more informations. Actually she forgot to hide the ring but whatever, she doesn't have to explain anything to others anyways.

Later at the hotel, she was laying in bed, finally time to rest and be happy to be home soon again until the next time. Of course she was wondering if everything was okay, hoping nothing bad happened in the meantime but to her surprise, she got very good news once she unlocked her phone.

[(Y/N)] >> *sent a photo* We love you and miss you. Look what our kids just learned today! I am so proud and I know you are too. Please take care. I love you <<

She smiled so brightly once seeing it, feeling all proud and happy that she even shed a tear. „My loves..." She said to herself before texting back.

>> Oh my god! I am so happy to see that. Very sweet. Of course I am proud! Stay safe, I love you. <<

And with that. She fell asleep soon, feeling all happy and calm knowing her loved ones are doing good.
