Golden Eyes - Part 2

The vampires tears

„Papa? Papa what are you doing here? Why is Mommy bleeding?" The young vampire girl looked shocked at the pool of blood on the floor, a dead body underneath her father which belonged to her mother. The male vampire turning around to face his daughter, eyes blood red as he looked mad, cursing as he let go of the lifeless body. „Fucking hell what are you doing here?! You shouldn't be here at all! Go away! Your mom is not here anymore." He grumbled and his scary face made the girl run away, crying out loudly at the horrific view she just saw.

„You gave me a child...but you were nothing else than a weak existence. I don't need someone...someone weak like you in my life!" He spoke to the dead body before tears ran down his cheeks. The mighty king fell on his knees after his anger washed away, smashing his fist on the floor. „FUCK!...I killed you. Yeah I did...a simple fight and your stupid body gives up like that?! No...no I am a monster. Where is my child?!" He came back to reality again, wanting to get to his daughter, she must be so scared and heartbroken.

It was an accident. No one wanted to kill anyone in here but it still happened. Controlling the power of a vampire...even the vampire king couldn't fully take control of it. He cursed, he always got mad quickly, aggressive but no fight ended like that. This time it was a terrible accident...and he knew it was his own fault but accepting the fact that it was...impossible.

The blonde young girl ran away, out the castle and into the woods, crying for her mother, scared of her father. She got lost once she hid behind a huge tree and sat down, her back leaning against the tree as cried when suddenly a young boy came towards her, holding a flower in front of her. „Don't cry..." He said as he tried to cheer the girl up, she looked at him, wiping her tears as she took the flower from him. „Princesses shouldn't cry." He added before smiling even more sweetly, kneeling before the blonde.

„I am Luke. I am a simple villager. I know who you are. Please don't be sad." He mentioned, his smile so bright you could see his vampire fangs. „Was it the wolves who made you cry? They are meanies to us vampires!" He mentioned but she just shook her head. „No...it's...nothing." She didn't want to talk about what she just saw.

„Okie then! I am gonna stay with you until you feel better." He said, sitting down beside the girl and let her lean her head against his shoulder until the blonde girl fell asleep, exhausted of all this crying.

[a few years later]

„My princess, it's time." The maid said and the blonde woman nodded her head in understanding. „Fine. My dad told me it's time. Are they already coming?"

The maid just nodded and she knew it was time. The war had just begun. Ever since the horrific scenes of her mother dying because of an ‚accident' she got more cold hearted like her father, hate surrounding her heart except for one person. Her father which she forgave for this brutal accident and her friend Luke. She learned being a vampire isn't easy. Controlling power isn't easy when you act out of emotions, she knew that by now. Especially when you're powerful like the royal family was.

Today was the day where vampire's and werewolves are going into war. That meant, no mercy. Every wolf will die under their hands, that's their plan.

When she went outside the castle she already met her father and the other vampire soldiers. „Father..." She said and he only looked at her with a cold gaze. „La Zarra...my dear. It's time to show those filthy animals who not to mess with anymore." He said and she nodded in response, having the same cold expression like him.

The werewolves were arriving and that's it, that's the beginning of a bloody fight, vampires against werewolves.

„Come on guys! Let's get them!" A werewolf shouted, a lot of them turning into wolf forms during fight and some stayed human, depending on their fighting skills.

The whole field ended into a total mess, a lot of dead bodies covering the ground, blood everywhere. La Zarra saw a huge wolf getting into the direction of her and her father, it must be the wolves leader, no it was the wolf god...Fenrir...and beside him...it must be his daughter.

„I am going for the wolf, you get that girl." The vampire king Draven told his daughter La Zarra and so she did. She rushed over to the raven haired woman, attacking her but the other woman didn't seem like she wanted to fight, she was more protecting herself which made the vampire go crazy out of anger. „Why?! Why aren't you fucking fighting!" She yelled and both tripped, making the vampire fall on the werewolf, the look on the dark haired woman was so different. There wasn't anger, nor fear, she looked sad...disappointed and worried.

„I don't want to kill..." She said and La Zarra snapped, chocking the other woman with both hands. „Then I will kill you!" She cursed as she tried her best but she got interrupted as another wolf jumped up out of nowhere, pushing La Zarra off the woman. „Kaarija!" She was surprised that the other one helped her get rid of the vampire and the male wolf just looked at the other.

„Are you crazy Loreen?! You need to fight or you will die!" He said, worried for his friend but before the fight could go on, something worse happened to the vampire princess.

The wolf god managed to kill her one and only father. „Dad!!" She yelled as she ignored the two wolves and rushed to her father, the huge werewolf already disappeared again with all the others after the king died, knowing they have won.

„Come on! Let's go away with them, it's over!" The male wolf Kaarija said, looking confused as Loreen didn't move a single muscle as she looked at the female vampire. „Kaarija...why did we have to do that?...why do we have to kill?! I didn't come here for that. My father said everything will be okay..everything will be solved...why like that? Couldn't we just make it up in peace?!" The young raven haired woman shouted at her friend, hitting his chest as she cried. „Why so many dead bodies?! Kaarija please...I know my dad has more powers than this...he didn't have to kill him." If there was something Loreen hated then it was hurting others. She didn't want to do this at all but Kaarija managed to take her away from this battlefield, making them disappear before something worse could happen.

In the meantime La Zarra was crying over her father body, feeling like her flicked heart just got broken again. „Damn it...why...WHY?! first mother and now you...you were all I had left...now I have no family anymore..." She cursed, feeling like she was falling into a black hole over and over again, her mind spinning but only one made her get out of her thoughts as a hand touched her shoulder.

„Come on...let's go home..." It was Luke her now one and only friend. The only one she could go to and talk to. La Zarra quickly wiped her tears, nodding as she had a blank expression. „No Luke. They will pay...I will destroy every werewolf. I will kill them all! And especially her...she will die for what her father did to us! Just wait Loreen..." She mumbled under her breath. Eyes still teary as she looked into nothing, just feeling empty as she went away with Luke, leaving this messy battlefield and her heart became as black as ever.

„La Zarra?" She opened her eyes once she got woken up by a man, his cute puppy expression making her chuckle, it was Kaarija.

„Oh you...I did drift off I guess. I am sorry is everything okay?" She asked as she blinked in confusion, the wolf just chuckling. „Oh no! Loreen is back home, I just wanted to tell you we all are going to have dinner now together, you wanna join?"

La Zarra smiled, nodding before she got up and followed him to the kitchen.

No matter what happened in the past. This is her family now...and she wouldn't want it any other way. They taught her how to love, how to live...and she will protect this family at all cost...
