Readers POV

After we all rested well enough we were again on our way further through the forest, me being lost in my own thoughts as we walked. I heard La Zarra and Loreen talking about something but I didn't really pay attention to their words until I almost tripped over a root, making Loreen reach out for me and pull me back so I won't fall.

„(Y/N)! Be careful. Did you even listen to us?" She asked me and I just looked at her with a puzzled expression...no I don't. I shook my head and she sighed, I knew she could feel that I am not myself currently and I could feel her worried gaze burning through my skin but La Zarra got my attention once she repeated again what she said before.

„I said we are almost there. Be careful okay? We don't need a clumsy one in here." She said a little annoyed, showing a bit of her old behaviour and I could hear Loreen letting out a soft little growl at her, wanting to protect me but honestly I didn't care about their little fight, not even I cared what she told me and I am a real emotional overthinking person.

No my mind was somewhere else right now. I had this weird dream. Something wanted to tell me something but I can't say what exactly it was. It was a blue bright light but I couldn't see anyone. Just a voice telling me it's time. Time for what? I literally have my wife, Fenrir's daughter with me and two vampires.

„Stop fighting girls we need to focus now okay?" I hear Luke say with a frown, knowing it won't help us to fight right now and that's also what I thought.

That little sentence helped and both stopped complaining and fighting about a dumb comment towards me for a while until we all got speechless when we saw the hugs castle like building in front of us. It looked like a huge gothic building, leaving my jaw dropping to the ground.

„Wow..." I only mumble under my breath, La Zarra of course noticing her old home but she also knew the danger we will get ourselves into now. Her father was awaiting all of us, La Zarra will see the man that she thought she had lost, a man that hurt the vampire so much and Loreen...well she will see her old enemy again.

„God...this is huge." I say as I look up at the building but there was no much more time to admire the building, La Zarra wasn't thinking as she ran inside the building, Luke following her and I wanted to follow too shouting after them. „Hey stop! You can't just run inside! La Zarra!" I yell but Loreen held me back, unfortunately she was stronger than me, making me get mad and even yell at her in the moment. „Let me go! We need to help them! Just let me!" I yell and move my hand to the side, a blue flame like fire shot out my hand, crushing the tree beside us which made Loreen quickly react and move us out the way as I landed on my back and she on top of me. „(Y/N)! What was that?!" She asked me and I honestly didn't know. I looked at my own hand for a second, questioning myself before I shook it off and made Loreen get off me. „Get off me we have no time! If we won't follow them they might die! You know La Zarra, she is in fact a very kind and emotional person, she will act out of emotions and it won't make anything better." I try to explain but thankfully I could see Loreen following me, knowing there is no going back anymore and nothing more to question now, we need to find our friends.

Inside the building La Zarra was running fast but Luke managed to stop her in the middle of the hall by grabbing her arm, making her turn towards him. „Luke! Please stop. We have no time left, I need to see him...I need to know if my dad is still alive!" She shouted at him but he stayed still and calm as always.

„Hey...I know you can't believe he is alive and everything was a lie but we need to still be careful okay? We don't know what powers he has." Like tried to calm down but La Zarra shook her head before she shouted back at him again. „No! No I need to see him! I want to kill him with my own hands! He made me suffer so many times in my life, I want to have him dead by my own hands!" She yelled and suddenly a deep, evil laughter appeared, making both turn into the direction where it came from.

„My dear daughter...you never changed all those years huh? Still so...full of anger. You're almost like your father, like me." A deep voice appeared and the older vampire king stood there in front of his daughter La Zarra and her friend Luke, both speechless for a moment but La Zarra quickly answered back even though she had tears in her eyes. „I will NEVER be like you!! You killed mother! You killed so many good people!" She got more than angry and Luke needed to hold her back by her shoulder to keep her back a little but she pushed his hand away, showing him now it's her turn.

„I thought you were dead...I thought we could finally live happily in peace after the war! You told me everything will be alright but...you showed me only the opposite. You pretended to be fucking dead! I was on my own...I learned to hate the werewolves because if you! I mourned because of you!" She kept on yelling at her father as she let tears of hate and sadness flow down her cheeks but he only looked at her without any emotions.

„Oh La Zarra...what a weak princess you became. You really got friends with those filthy wolves...you as a vampire...you got friends with those? What a pity..." He mentioned but La Zarra didn't let him get through her, her anger and hate towards him only growing.

„Shut up! They gave me what I always searched for...a family...something you never gave me..."
