Golden Eyes - Part 2

Through the forest

Reader POV

We were on our way to the place where La Zarra grew up, having a weird feeling in my stomach the closer we got there. Leaving the others at home was a good decision tho. Three werewolves protecting our little one's are enough and with Alessandra having healing power's they are in good hands if the worst should happen what I am not hoping for.

„Wait a minute." Loreen stopped me and the others, we were confused for a second as we saw her sniff the air, the wolf was clearly noticing something we didn't yet. „What is it wolfie?" La Zarra asked with her arms crossed, I understood she was nervous since it's her father we are searching for and probably have to fight against.

„I smell blood." She answered the vampire and we moved more carefully before we saw the path before us covered in blood and it was fresh blood. „Whatever that was, it killed a human not long ago. It does smell like human blood, this was clearly not an animal." Loreen explained and as much as I hated this, it only explained that we are getting closer which was also good.

I noticed the tension between everyone and I couldn't blame them, my own knees got a little weak as we walked through the path, it looked like a tiny little battlefield.

Then suddenly a creature came out of nowhere, jumping at us but La Zarra was quickly reacting, throwing it against a tree with her telekinesis powers and luckily the thin creatures neck broke the force of it.

„Woah! That was close, how did you notice?" I ask her and La Zarra looked at me with a serious expression before she explained. „I would recognise those filthy monsters everywhere. The are just like mine were...just weaker. My dad always was bad at those things, he tried but when it was about creating an army, it was my work." She explained to us and I could feel Loreen taking my hand in hers, making me turn my attention towards her, again she looked at me with those beautiful golden eyes but this time they look worried. „I am okay..." I told her but she didn't really want to let go of me. Her protective behaviour was hot and I adored her for that but I knew we needed to focus on going further. „(Y/N)...you sure you want to come with us." She asked me and I just nod my head with a smile before pecking her lips. „Sure! I told you I want to help you the best I can." I say but she frowned at me, La Zarra interrupting us.

„There is no going back anyways. They know we are here...so stop holding your wife back wolfie, we have a mission if you like it or not." She mentioned and made Luke follow her who also looked worried but he turned to follow the female vampire and me and Loreen did too.

„Do you think they are doing well?" Alessandra was indeed worried about everything and the two other wolves noticed it without her having to say anything more but as a little ray of sunshine Kaarija nodded with a smile. „Sure! They have our alpha with them with the power of Fenrir! Plus La Zarra and Luke know how vampires work. As for (Y/N)...she is a brave and strong human as well. So no worries!" He said and Alessandra smiled just a little before she shared more of her thoughts to the male.

„(Y/N) is not just a human...I could feel it. There is more than she knows herself. I just hope she will discover it soon, it will be helpful for them. I feel there is also a huge power sleeping inside of her." She explained and Kaarija looked kind of impressed by it, knowing Alessandra had a good feeling about other people and she was never wrong. „Then let's hope she will. Now let's bring those little wolfies to bed, Bojan looks tired entertaining them." He said and Alessandra chuckled before getting up and they both helped Bojan out a little.

Readers POV

It's been a while since we were on our feet, clearly feeling exhausted. So we found a little cave just enough to rest a little in it before we continued our way. We needed the rest to be able to fight properly.

„Don't worry guys, I am not mixed with a human so I don't need to sleep or rest. I will watch out for danger while you guys rest." Luke said and we all nodded in agreement.

La Zarr was still lost in thoughts and me and Loreen decided not to interrupt her own thoughts as we both sat a little away from her to give her the space she needed.

„I hope the pups are doing fine..." I hear her say and just smiled at her, leaning my head on Loreen's shoulder, wanting to cuddle her a little before I answer her. „Sure they are. If I noticed something...even from before when La Zarra was our enemy...they want you. Their hate go to Fenrir and you. Why do you think I am here? I can't let anything bad happening to you...I love you..." I tell her and squeeze myself even more against her warm body, feeling her arms moving around me as well before I felt her placing a kiss on my forehead, making me smile softly. „I love you too...no worried my love. We will be okay...now...let me make things a bit more comfy for us."

Loreen turned into her huge wolf form, giving me a more comfy place to rest, making me smile happily and she looked at La Zarra too, making me understand what she wanted even without using words.

„Hey, come over here La Zarra. Enough thinking. Let's rest so we will be ready to fight." I tell the vampire and she looked over at us before nodding and getting closer, us both cuddling into Loreen's fur and she even used her tail to give us a little blanket. A very cute idea...I could swear I saw La Zarra smiling just a little before we drifted off to take a good nap to be ready for later...
