Aether's journey to Orario was filled with anticipation and excitement. As he travelled, the days passed by uneventfully, each one bringing him closer to his destination.
.
.
Silence is uncomfortable...
"Why are you going to Oriario?"
After a few minutes of silence the carriage man asked a question.
"Because huh?"
¿Why am I going to Oriario? It would be a little tedious to explain.
If I had to say a serious reason...
"Because I want to be a Hero... Because I want to se her smile again to create my destiny and history, to give hope to important people for me, and.... to have my predestined encounter..." even though he wants to be a hero his grandpa drilled a part of romance in his head
When I finished talking, suddenly my face blushed, I realised that I said something shameful, ugh what a shame... Especially the latter, If mother listened to what I said, she would surely give me a terrifying gospel fist and send the grandfather to fly with his magic if she found out that he took his teachings a little bit seriously.
"Hahahaha" the driver laugh as he spoke "You really got influenced by the old man"
"Ehehe" the boy scratched his cheek giving a small smile
It took Bell a while, but eventually he arrived at the gates of Orario. The city was bigger than he had imagined...and more glum than he thought
I could see that the walls surrounded the city.
The huge walls were so high that I couldn't see the end even when I raised my head to the limit, causing my neck to hurt. That's how impressive they were.
I swallowed hard, backing up to regain calm, and finally came to town.
I could see that there were many people and demi- humans waiting to enter, many of them looked like merchants, I was a little surprised, it was the first time I saw the demi-humans. In the town where Bell lived there were only humans so I had never seen them.
There was a long line to enter the city.
"I hope this doesn't take long"
He sighed as he already started to hate the long lines.
Still Aether couldn't help but feel a mix of nerves and excitement. He glanced around, observing the seasoned adventurers sharing tales of their conquests and the guards maintaining order at the gates.
It was finally Aether's turn to face the guards, and they exchanged curious glances as they awaited the presence of an adult accompanying the young boy. To their surprise, Aether stood alone, his determination evident in his eyes.
One of the guards approached him, with concern on his face. "Are you alone, young one? Have you come to Orario to become an adventurer?"
Aether nodded, his voice filled with pride as he answered, "Yes, I want to become an adventurer and I seek to explore the Dungeon and test my abilities."
The guards exchanged impressed glances at the young boy's courage. "It's commendable that someone as young as you has such aspirations. However, there are certain procedures and requirements to enter Orario as an adventurer," the guard explained.
