"I'm fine Larys." Lucia muttered pulling away from him.
"I know... I just want to help you Lu." Larys whispered. She sat back on the bed with a huff, her face pinched, she just wanted to do it for herself but she couldnt. Lucia sighed looking to her big brother. He was always a skinny thing compared to Harwin. Yet he was the strongest person she knew. He offered her a half smile.
"I'm sorry." Lucia whispered.
"You are so brave Lucia, you don't have to do it all by yourself." Larys reminded her. She leaned into him as he sat beside her. "I know you can do it, you dont have to prove anything to me. I know you are strong Lu, I know you are capable but I want to help, I like to feel needed... entertain me from time to time." Larys mused giving her a little nudge.
"Thanks Larys." Lucia whispered. "Sorry for snapping."
"Already forgotten." Larys assured pressing a kiss to her temple. "Now, lets get you ready for this wedding."
Harwin picked them up holding out his arm like a gentleman for Lucia, she smiled, Larys rolled his eyes as they walked to the great hall for the feast.
"There you are." Lyonel remarked kissing Lucia's cheek.
"Had a leg malfunction." Lucia whispered. Lyonel offered her a small smile understanding. "Come on, lets get some food." Lucia instructed, she mirrored Larys as he walked to their table. Hand gripped tightly to her cane her false leg working overtime as she heaved it forward, the shoe attached finding balance.
"You look beautiful Lu," Harwin remarked taking a sip of his ale.
"Thank you, Har." Lucia answered swirling her wine untouched, she liked that she had it, it made her feel older than her 17 years, more mature but she didnt like the taste.
''It is with great pleasure that His Grace, King Viserys, announces the start of the royal wedding celebrations. House Lannister with their lord, Jason Lannister. Lord Paramount of the West, and Master of Casterly Rock. House High tower with their lord, Hobert Hightower. Beacon of the South, Defender of the Citadel, the Voice of Old town...'' Harrold announced.
"Lady Lucia, I'm glad you are here." Lucia and Larys were both surprised to see Viserys approaching their table. Harwin rose up but Lucia couldnt find the strength to rise. Larys got up the pressure on his foot from the change challenging but he got up offering Lucia a hand. "Sit, sit," Viserys assured. Harwin remained standing out of respect but Lucia didnt budge from her seat.
"Everything looks lovely your grace." Lucia remarked. "Rhaenyra must be very grateful for all you have done."
"Grateful," Viserys laughed back. "No, no, she will do her part as she agreed, she is quite mad at me."
"Teenagers, they are tricky I hear." Lucia mused. Viserys chuckled smiling over at her.
"You wouldnt know anything about that though." Viserys agreed.
"Me?" Lucia brought a hand to her chest. "I'm angelic, ask my brothers."
"Your grace." Lyonel remarked coming up to them. "What..." his words trailed off as he looked between them.
"Lyonel your daughter always knows how to make me smile, its a gift." Viserys remarked. "Excuse me." Lyonel nodded his gaze following the king quizzically before looking to Lucia, she took a small sip of her wine. She shrugged when he opened his mouth to question what happened.
"I'm just loveable." Lucia offered.
''Congratulations, Your Grace. You have made a fine match for the Princess.'' Jason said as he approached. Viserys withheld a groan, he should have stayed with Lucia Strong.
