They were only one week into the trip, and Lloyd swears he's going insane.

He had stuck to a normal schedule (not a normal sleep schedule, though).

He spent every day reviewing his plan of fixing everything in this timeline over and over, and holding his sword handle tight, just in case they randomly got attacked, though that was unlikely. There was nothing out here for miles except miles of tall grass fields. They had moved on from the farm fields, now walking out into nowhere.

It felt like the fields had eyes. He would stare, and there would be nothing, then he would look away, and he's swear he saw something in the corner of his eye. But, nothing would be there when he gazed over the land again.

Maybe he was just being paranoid.

But, that's not what he was doing the majority of the time.

He spent most of his days watching his employer's kids. His job was to be a bodyguard and get these people to Ninjago city safely, not being a babysitter for a bunch of random children.

Pretty annoying children too. They were all over him. Apparently traveling with a Ninja was the most important and interesting thing in their tiny lives.

They wanted everything to do with him. They asked him countless of stupid questions, like, if he's been on quests, if he had superpowers, did he have an evil nemesis? Though he entertained them from time to time, he really just wanted to be left alone.

Getting chucked through time and space is very stressful and tiring, you know?

What was especially annoying was when they cling to him. Pestering for piggy-backs and pulling on his arm. They attempted to take his sword and play with it. These kids have no sense of danger. They couldn't be more than seven through twelve.

Lloyd wondered what it felt like to be so innocent at that age. Filled with so much joy and excitement, that 's all that filled their tiny brains.

His back was sore after carrying one of the girls for an hour and a half, only to be rescued by her father, who finally told the kids to stop bothering him.

Finally, Lloyd could think in peace. There was no harm in going over his plan one more time.

One, find his younger self before he releases the snakes.

Two, actually, scratch that. There were many directions Lloyd could take. He could take his younger self to the Ninja and Wu, or return him to his mother, he didn't really know what he'd do.

Defeating all the villains he had faced in the past was gonna be difficult without a team to rely on. But, with his power, and new found Oni abilities, he should be able to make do.

He had time though, and lots of it. Without the Serpentine out to kidnap younger Lloyd, Garmadon never escapes the Realm of Madness, no Garmadon, no pirates, no grundle, no Overlord.

Thank the Elements for no Overlord. He shuddered. His- The Overlord will never hurt anyone ever again.

Also, there wouldn't be any Great Devourer, so no Harumi or Sons of Garmadon.

The Overlord will never escape the Dark Island, and possess his father, or Cyrus Borg. But without the Final Battle, the Overlord never destroys half the city, and Cyrus Borg never fixes anything, which means P.I.X.A.L. never-

No, stop it. He wasn't gonna do this. Not now.

Zane never dies, and never ends up on Master Chen's island. Lloyd would have to be careful with Chen. His staff is able to take Elemental powers.
