Chapter 35

Radhika: 'Mein toh nahi jaungi...kyun jaun... itni mushkil se to chuttiyan mili thi... ab toh mein office chuttiyan khatam hone ke baad hi jaungi...'

Krish: 'Thank god...' (He said under his breathe)

Radhika: 'Kya kaha tumne...?' (Bombastic Side Eye Reference, lOvLiEs)

Krish: Meine... kuch bhi to nahi... meine kaha kuch kaha...mein toh keh raha hoon ki tum so jao...' (Saying this he again covered her with the blanket)

Next Morning,

Radhika woke up and found Krish was not in the room. She thought he would be downstairs. Soon after taking shower and getting ready she went downstairs to help mom in preparing breakfast. 

Time passed but Krish was nowhere to be seen so she thought he might be in the study.

Even at the time of breakfast he didn't come so she asked mom.

Radhika: 'Mumma yeh Krish kahan hai... subah se nahi dikh raha...kahin gaya hai kya...?'

Mom: 'Haan beta kahin gaya to hai... par kahan... vo batake nahi gaya...'

Radhika: 'Accha...' (In mind: aise kaise chala gaya mujhe bin bataye...)

After breakfast, dad went for his work, Maya went to college and mom and dadi went to attend some kirtan.

Now Radhika was alone at home.

Here Krish was in the mall with Avinash and Aarohi.

The three of them were selecting dresses for Radhika, which she would be wearing for the party.

Krish: 'Yrrr...I'm totally confused ki kis type ki dress leni hai...sab kuch hi accha lag raha hai... oye Aarohi tu ladki hai na... ab tu hi select kar...'

Aarohi: 'Ummm...dekho birthday party hai na... toh koi fairy type gown bhi select kar sakte hai... she will look very beautiful...'

Avinash: 'Hmmm...oye Krish...tu bhi le le na...apne liye matching outfit...'

Krish: 'Mein kyu...'

Aarohi: 'Aree tum Radhika ke pati ho...tumhara banta hai... aur vaise bhi tum dono twinning karoge toh acche lagoge...'

Krish hesitated for a moment, but eventually, he agreed at the insistence of Avinash and Aarohi. After purchasing clothes, they continued with their preparations. Throughout the day, Radhika was left alone at home, feeling both bored and frustrated as Krish wasn't answering her calls.

Radhika: 'Yeh ho kya raha hai... Ek toh koi hai nahi ghar pe... upar se Krish bhi subah se gayab hai...phone bhi nahi utha raha... ane do sham ko chodungi nahi mein use....'

At around 9 at night, the whole family was having dinner, but Krish was missing again. Radhika was upset, but she didn't say anything. After finishing all her chores, she went back to her room.

In the room, 

Radhika: 'Hadd hi ho gayi hai aaj toh... yeh koi baat hui bhala... ek toh bin bataye gayab hai... upar se phone bhi utha nahi raha....Aane do aaj mein baat hi nahi karne wali...' 

She soon slept as it was past 10:30 p.m.

Here downstairs Krish peeped in the house with Radha's nani and found the whole family was waiting for both of them.

Maya: 'Kya bhai...aapne kitni der lagadi aane mein...'

Krish: 'Aree...jaldi aate toh Radhika pakad leti na...'

Maya: 'Woh toh theek hai... But bhabi aaj bohot gusse mein hai...aapne phone bhi nahi uthaya unka...'

Krish: 'Koi nahi...Maan jaayegi...'

Nani: 'Thank you Krish... Radhika ke liye itna kuch karne ke liye...voh bohot khush hogi dekh lena...'

He smiled and hugged her.

Mom: 'Bas ab 12 bajne ka wait hai....sabse pehle mein wish karungi...'

Dad: 'Kyun...Pehle mein karunga...'

Dadi: 'Kyun...mere muh mein zaban nahi hai kya... pehle mein karungi...'

Maya: 'No no no... mein sabse choti hoon pehle mein karungi...'

All started arguing, and suddenly Krish exclaimed, startling everyone

Krish: 'Areeeeeee...chup ho jao aap sab... voh uth jayegi fir koi wish nahi kar paayega...'

All immediately shut their mouths.

Mom: 'Toh... tu hi bata de kaun wish karega pehle...?'

Krish: 'Koi nahi...'

Maya: 'Matlab...?'

Krish: 'Matlab sab sath mein karenge...voh so rahi hogi na toh use uthane ke liye pehle mein guitar bajaunga aur jaise hi voh uthegi...aap sab shuru ho jaana..theek hai?'

Everyone agreed with him. Holding a cake, they all went with Krish to their room. Standing at the doorstep, 

Krish: 'Dekho... abhi 5 minute hain... toh koi awaaz nahi karega...aur sabse badi bat use ye pata nahi lagna chahiye ki yeh sab kisne kiya hain...'

All: 'Ok sir...'

Krish: 'Good...'
