Clyde's POV:

I paused the game I was playing with Tolkien and stared at my phone.

"Dude, what's up?"
"That meeting thing. That Tweek and Craig just had."
"Yeah? What about it?"
"Craig's... Craig and Tweek are worried about it."
"What? What happened."
"I don't know." I said, as I looked up and at Tolkien. I turned my phone Screen so that Tolkien could see the text message too.

Craig

Hey, dude. Can we talk?

Sure! What's up?

That meeting. With the
detectives that me and
Tweek just dealt with.

What about it?

He's... Clyde, Tweek might
have to go into foster care.

What? Craig. You said
you guys were fine!
That nothing would
happen!

Well, obviously I
was wrong! Ok?

Are there any
other options?

Yeah. But we have to go
through court for that.

What is it?

Emancipation.

???
What's that?

Where minors are ruled
as adults by court law.

So why won't you go that route?

It's a lot of work, Clyde.

Tweek does some pretty
impressive shit, dude!
He could totally do this!!

I have no doubt Tweek
could do well in it.

But??

Listen, Tweek's really
stressed right now.

How stressed are we talking?

Before the meet-up
started, he was on
the verge of tears.
About losing you all.

INCLUDING THE FAT ASS?

I presume so.

The conversation wasn't too long, so Tolkien read it quite fast. He glared at it for a second before giving my phone back.

"I'm calling Craig."
"WHAT! Nooo! Man, he'll be mad at me for telling you our convo!"
"Clyde. Stop crying, it'll be fine."
"But Tolkien!"
"Just keep quiet. Alright?" Tolkien asked me, giving straight eye contact with me. I nodded sheepishly and stayed quiet.
Tolkien grabbed his phone and called Craig.

Ringggggg, ringggggggg, RINNNNNG!

"Yeah?" A voice from the other end mumbled. Tolkien and I made eye contact. Craig sounded exhausted.
"Hey, bud. How did it go?"
"Oh Tolkien, it went horrible. Yes Tweek, it did. You can't deny that."
"Tweek thinks it went well?"
"He's denying the fact he might need to go into fostercare. Completely."
"Fostercare? Aren't there other options?"
"Yeah... not easy ones."
