Lisa got out of her uber and walked towards her apartment. After traveling for almost 17 hours, all she wanted to do was sleep. But before she could do that, she was excited to see her best friends after what felt like a very long time.
Lisa loved going home to Thailand but after spending so much time abroad, it didn't feel like home anymore. Neither did Los Angeles. Of course she missed her parents and adored her friends in LA but for some reason she didn't associate either of them with home. One could say she was a bit lost.
The young girl felt nervous being back in LA after how she left things off before leaving.
Lisa had broken up with her girlfriend of 3 years before break. That was the reason behind the sudden available bed in the apartment. It was quite the messy break up since they were living together. Before she left, Lisa left a note saying she wanted her out of the apartment and gone for good before she got back. Lisa never really opened up to anyone about the break up, but it must've been pretty bad because she was never the type to just kick someone out. Lisa was doing fine now and was looking for a complete change of scenery and leave that part of her life behind.
"Guyyysssss I'm heeerrreeee!!"
Lisa figured everyone would be asleep since it was already so late, but as soon as she opened the door, she felt herself be crushed by two bodies.
"LIIISSSSSAAAAAA," indeed it was Jisoo and Rosé who greeted the younger girl by attacking her with a long hug. They missed her terribly. They always did whenever she travels back to Thailand.
"Oh my god, you guys are actually crushing me right now" Lisa said out of breath.
"Can you blame us? You've been gone for yeaaarrrrsssss" Rosé exaggerated.
"Cmon. it's only been a month. Now let me go. You're scaring Leo."
Lisa had almost forgotten she had brought her can Leo with her. He was such a good and calm cat, plus he never minded traveling. So everywhere Lisa went, Leo was right there next to her. That was her baby.
"Hi Leo! We've missed you buddy. I think I missed you more than I missed Lisa" Jisoo teasingly said and Lisa just shrugged.
"What are you guys doing up? I thought you would be asleep by now. Especially you Jisoo" Lisa said with a smirk.
Lisa let Leo out of his cage and let him get settled in.
"We just finished helping our new roommate set up and knew you could be home any minute so we just waited" Rosé said while picking up the cat that was putting at her legs.
"Mmmm that's right. We have a new roomie," Lisa paused, "so who's sleeping where? I'm kind of beat."
"Well she's in the double room. You can sleep with me for tonight if you don't want to share" Rosé said quietly.
"Oh yeah? you want to sleep with me Chaeng?" Lisa teased Rosé which caused a light shade of red to form on her cheeks. "It's alright. I'll take the extra bed for now and we can figure out everything else tomorrow"
The sleepy girl said goodnight to her favorite people and walked into the room. She saw the silhouette of a girl sleeping in the bed on the other side of the room. She let Leo inside and closed the door trying to make as little noise possible.
Exhaustion was starting to take over so she quickly got herself ready for bed. It didn't take long for Lisa to fall dead asleep.
As much as she was putting it off, Lisa was dreading tomorrow. She had some unfinished business with the girl she had left a month ago.
It was time to close that chapter once and for all.
