— JENNIE POV —
The drive to the party was very short. Once we arrived we decided to take some more shots before going in.
Jisoo had stopped by a gas station and grabbed a sprite because "there's no way you guys are drinking that straight with no chaser."
To be honest I don't think any of us needed it.
I was never much of a drinker. I've only ever been drunk once and that was over some wine with my mom. So I have zero clue as to what my alcohol tolerance is but tonight I'm definitely going to be careful and take it slow.
"Alright you guys know the drill," Jisoo began her little mom speech, "Please know your limits. If you plan on going crazy tonight at least let me know so I can be on the lookout. If you guys are leaving with some random person, please let me know as well so I'm not looking for you like a crazy person."
"Most importantly," Rosé added, "Be safe guys, don't be dumb. There's protection in the glove compartment"
I felt the girls look at me.
"Oh umm I'm okay," I laughed, "There's zero chance of that happening tonight."
"I don't know Jennie," Jisoo came to my side, "In this outfit, no one's going to be able to take their eyes off of you"
I instantly blushed. I knew this outfit was a bold choice, I was not prepared for the attention this was going to get. I know my goal tonight was to meet some people I needed to make myself invisible immediately.
I could feel a certain stare coming from someone who has been a little too quiet since we got here. The silent one spoke.
"I'm probably staying over" Lisa said rather quickly.
"Yeah yeah I figured, it is Cara's party" Jisoo teased Lisa and she looked annoyed.
"Lisa you better not ditch us like last time" Rosé annoyingly added, "We came for you. The least you can do is be with us and not your girlfriends"
Girlfriends? Plural?
"I won't I won't," Just like that Lisa's attitude changed, "Promise. Let's go!"
Lisa grabbed Rosie's hand and led us into the house. I hooked onto Jisoo and followed quickly behind them.
I underestimated how big of a party this was going to be. It was huge! There were so many people here, almost all of them dressed up.
"Ugh great, I'm the odd one out" Jisoo sounded disappointed.
"Hey don't worry, The all black outfit works great," I smiled and reassured the older girl of her outfit selection. She looked great.
As soon as we walked in I lost sight of Lisa and Rosé. It didn't take long for me to lose Jisoo as well. She told me she was going to the bathroom, my guess is she got lost within the crowd on her way back.
Time to mingle I guess.
I went to the kitchen in search of some alcohol. If I was going to get through tonight I definitely needed it. I found two bottles of soju so I grabbed them both and took them outside. It was getting way too crowded and I needed some fresh air.
I settled for a spot next to the pool. I instantly regretted sitting here because not even a minute passed before someone jumped in and splashed water all over me.
"Hey watch out asshole," I hear a voice come from behind me, "what a dick. You alright?" the stranger offered me a towel.
"Thanks" I laughed and dried myself off.
