today, zud was going on a date. austin set him up with one of his friends, but zud wasn't so sure about this girl. from what he heard, she was a bitch and was very rude to everyone.
"you'll love her" biffle told zud over the phone
"what's her name?" zud asked
"her name is karen"
"okay... anyways what do i wear?"
"just wear what you would normally wear. she'll like you for sure" austin reassured
"alright alright"
zud decided to wear a sweartshirt and sweatpants. it's what he wore everyday, and that's what biffle told him.
it was time for his date at the cafe. the girl was waiting outside, looking a little lost.
"where were youu?" she complained with a frown on her face
"sorry, but it's exactly 2:30?"
"i was waiting for 15 minutes, i thought austin told you that i was coming at 2:15"
"he didn't text me anything."
this date was already not going well for mainly zud. they went inside and got seated. the waitress came over to take their orders.
"hello, my name is y/n and i'll be your server today" she said cheerfully
"yes i'll have an latte with oatmilk and extra foam" karen ordered
"uh, ma'am, we don't have oat milk.. sorry" y/n apologized
"then just go buy some oat milk" karen said indignantly
"karen, that's kinda rude" zud corrected her
she huffed, crossed her arms, and said, "just get me a latte then."
"i'll get a hot chocolate" zud smiled apologetically at y/n
"what are you? a child?" karen scoffed
"a latte and a hot chocolate." y/n said writing that down on her tiny notepad and then she left.
"so, what are your hobbies?" zud asked politely
"i like to go to the salon, and that's about it"
"um, well, i am a youtuber for a living and i make videos about games."
"you literally are a child" karen rolled her eyes
"well, i think you're a spoiled brat who can't even be nice to the workers who are working minimum wage." zud was getting frustrated
"HOW DARE YOU. I AM LEAVING AND I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AND YOUR DUMB FACE AGAIN" she shouted at him as she stormed out of the room causing people to stare as she walked by
"fine by me." zud reclined back in his chair
he sighed and was about to leave when y/n appeared with the drinks.
"oh where did your date go? did she ditch you? oh i'm sorry im being too personal" y/n fumbled over her words
"no no it's okay. just a mean girl."
"i can sit with you, if you want. my break is just about to start and i wouldn't mind a latte" she smiled
"sure, that would be nice."
"so what's your name?"
"zud"
"that's an interesting name, as you already know, i'm y/n, and i like to stream on twitch"
"oh twitch? i make youtube videos."
"let me have your channel, i can subscribe"
he gave her his channel
"damnn you have 260k subs"
"it's not that much..."
"you're, like, famous"
"kind of," zud said a little embarassed but still proud, "what's your twitch? i'll follow you"

"nah that's just on twitch"

she smiled brightly at him and he smiled back.
"it's about 3, i should get back to work." y/n stated

she handed him her number
"you realize i'll be working here like everyday so"
