myles and y/n were pretty good friends, but they were in different friend groups. he was part of the outcasts, and she was part of lifesteal. she and clownpierce were close friends and myles was definitely, what can you say, NOT, the fighting type. they were kinda opposites. he was the builder type and she was the fighter type.

upcoming was the school dance, where EVERYONE had a date. all of their friends had a date. even myles' friend chief.

"myles i bet you don't have a date for the school dance" chief mocked

"shut up chief"

"see you dont" he laughed

"i will get a date chief you have to wait"

"okay but i bet you can't get a date by this friday. 100 bucks"

and they shook on it. today was monday. myles had 5 days to complete this bet, and he had no idea who to go with.

he sighed as the bell rang, signifying for him to go to english.

"new seats, check the board for seating arrangements."

myles looked to the board to find himself sitting with 3 of lifesteal's members. rekrap, bacon, and y/n. at least these were the nicer people of lifesteal. and myles knew y/n. she was nice to him. they only became friends because in kindergarten, myles was getting bullied for who knows what by some of the lifesteal guys and y/n defended him and pumched parrot square in the nose. and since then they had been friends.

"hey myles" y/n smiled at him

"hey y/n"

"you disappointed you couldn't sit with wenzo?"

"little bit"

"it's okay, bacon and rek are pretty nice," she commented, "bacon and rek can't really fight" y/n whispered

he nodded, and then an idea popped up. but just then rek and bacon walked in and sat down in their seats. they had a pretty nice english teacher who made them say their names and introduce themselves and their best friend.

"uh... i'm myles and my best friend is chief"

"oh i know chief, he's one of my good friends" rek interjected

"i'm bacon and my best friend is jaron"

"jaron ye?" myles asked

"my name is rek and my best friend is branzy"

"and my name is y/n and my best friend is clown"

they suffered through english and came out

"hey y/n" myles called

she turned around, "yes?"

he caught up to her and started walking alongside her.

"so i have a bet with chief"

"he bet that i couldn't get a date for the dance"
